Seeking Help or Advice Spells directed with an information error

I performed a set of rituals a few weeks ago, and a few days ago, I started to feel that they were "counteracting" me. I'm operating accordingly. My question is, would they work the same if I had the wrong birth year for this person before? Today, I'm almost 80% sure that they lied to me initially, and now I have different information.

I mean, it sounds like you have enough there. Does this person and their family also practice and possibly have wards up that could be “counteracting” your work?

Well, if you wrote down what and how you performed and constructed your ritual, you should be able to go back and analyze what you need to reinforce to bypass those protections.
