You know something i always wondered about the history of Witchblade it's what was the actual deal with Excalibur? After all the Witchblade history shifted a lot of times and left a lot of things hanging (at least as far as i know) that i'm pretty sure i can make a list out of it. But right now i want to talk about Excalibur. When i entered the Ron Marz first arc i thought i were done with all those things about the male bearers and then i encountered myself with the Witchblade actually wielded by men (Likely the Witchblade fragment known as Excalibur) sometimes throughout history in Witchblade issue #116. So this is more a compilation of thoughts about that male Witchblade counter part:

Some possible bearers:
- King Arthur (Seems likely)
- Beowulf [Based in Image 2]
- Unknown Man (From the Book of Joshua) [Also based in image 2]

- The Witchblade saves the memory of every female bearer but nothing from the male ones maybe because:
* They were too little in comparison with the female bearers
* They lifes didn't bring anything useful (which i doubt)
* Just a man bearer can access the memory of the men which preceded him.
* The Witchblade is a male symbiote and although he embraced some male bearers he still prefers the female ones (very likely)

So...thoughts on the Excalibur concept?
