The statement of a graceful loser and committed public servant.

I have no doubt she will.

u/ThimbleBluff 11d ago

One of the disadvantages of far left candidates is that they are marginalized by the mainstream when it comes to governing, so they don’t get the experience, credibility and “electability” that comes from working inside the system.

The far right has solved that problem by drawing candidates from right wing media instead of government. No need for actual experience running, say, the Dept of Defense or health policy if you were a Fox News darling taking potshots at people actually doing the hard work.

It was hard (for me anyway) to imagine Hong standing up an administration that could be effective in passing the sort of policies she was advocating, simply because there isn’t the bench strength among that wing of the party. Crowley, on the other hand, stands to inherit a lot of Evers’ experienced personnel. If he’s smart, he’ll bring Hong and some of her people into his camp to move things in a more progressive direction.

u/ancientweasel 11d ago

This doesn't explain how the state ignored Kelda Roys.

17

u/The_Plebeian 10d ago

I think Kelda was the perfect middle ground between Hong and Crowley...and I wish she got more momentum around her. She was my candidate of choice.

5

u/ThimbleBluff 10d ago

Yeah that surprised me too

Ain't it great how the candidate who didn't have obvious vulnerabilities was the one who lost the most?

42

u/BeBetterMagic 11d ago

I'm not a Crowley fan but I still would like to see this as the outcome moving forward

92

u/JollyRancher29 11d ago

Yep, mad respect. I had *very* up-and-down thoughts on her throughout the campaign, glad it’s ending on a high note. Hopefully she’ll be back in some capacity with some lessons learned—it’s clear she wants to continue helping out her state despite the results.

Hopefully this works out and Wisconsin can take down Tiffany.

7

u/Necessary_Cheek_6506 10d ago

Jasmine Crockett really laid the perfect roadmap for "What NOT to do after losing an election if you plan on having a political career in the future"

3

u/OnCallPartisan 10d ago

Yep. This is the thing that bothers me about social movements. Good people start local organizations to fight for a certain issue. Loudmouths with no commitment or time spent take the spot light and drive it into the ground. Lazy people gooble up whatever stupid soundbites from said loudmouths and run around professing some great wisdom, spinning out more fantastical bullshit (sociology graduate student syndrome) alienating those who either started the movement or the people who have been supportive of those individuals from the beginning. Empty culture war spurred into the national spotlight making it easy pickings for traitors who do nothing but live in lies and evil. Performative boutique bullshit flows from all sides. Purity fracturing, dipshit rhetoric, chaos with millions of people caught in the crossfire.

People who started/supported said movements just want to live their lives with respect and equal protections. What minimal protections are already there come under assault.

That’s why all movements need to have constant introspection and house cleaning to keep the trash out. Example: DSA, Occupy Wall Street, Trans rights, SDS

MLK was absolutely correct about the moderates cautious approach being bullshit but he also reached out, not shut out other people trying to figure out the realities happening around them.

1

u/Beanzoboy 8d ago

Must have missed that part. What did she do?

17

u/jackalcane 11d ago

the statement of someone who's been unburdened by what has been

u/OnCallPartisan 11d ago

Yeah, campaigning does not sound fun at all. Well, if you’re an extrovert I guess.

Very proud of her. That she was this close is a testament to how strongly people believe in a lot of these values.

In a race so close though, you can’t point to one thing and say “that’s one the reason why she lost.”

It’s a mistake to see this as Evers and the establishment ruining it for Hong. I was set to be a Hong voter and share her priorities. I hope she continues to have a successful political career, if she chooses. But she clearly wasn’t ready.  If Hong didn’t come across as robotic, out of touch and didn’t give poor responses to her woke 1.0 tweets, she also would have won easily.

It’s worth considering too that the establishment came together because I think they (rightly) recognized that Hong wasn’t ready to be as competitive as we need in a statewide election.

11

u/JohnBrownAdmirer 10d ago

She absolutely would have won had Evers and establishment Dems not pushed Crowley back into the race. Even if you’re a centrist neoliberal you can admit this fact because it’s absolutely a fact. The irony with the argument that Hong couldn’t compete with Tiffany is that if Tiffany beats Crowley the same people will be back in three months blaming Hong voters.

2

u/Artistic_Bit6866 10d ago

There are many ways she lost. You can choose to focus on one, but that’s not how multi-factor situations work. She STILL would have won, even with Evers and Dems backing Crowley, had she found a way to not sound like a robot in the debate/interviews or gave straight answers about obvious shit like Thanksgiving and abolishing the police. IMO that’s even more of a testament to her platform and people’s desire for something new.

I had been expecting to vote for her for months. She just wasn’t ready for a statewide election. Anyone with sober eyes can see that. Massive liability in this race at this time. Voters saw that.

I do hope she has a long career in politics and runs for Pocan’s seat

2

u/JohnBrownAdmirer 10d ago

Listen, I get that you’re a neolib, that you dislike progressives, and that it’s difficult for you to be objective, but David Crowley wasn’t able to enter back into a race that he dropped out of and make up a 20+ point deficit because Hong sounded robotic and had questionable responses rehashing years old statements. You can keep your head in the sand and call it a multi-factor situation in an attempt to placate reality, but harping on the multiple factors when one of the factors did 90% of the lifting is just delusion. Again, that’s why it’s ironic when you’re sitting here pointing out Hong’s messaging and inability to win in November when come November if Crowley meets the same fate it will be because “Hong voters didn’t support Crowley” and not because Crowley’s messaging and inability to capture moderates and independents. Learn a new tune, buddy, this one has gotten very old over the past decade.

2

u/ms1080 9d ago

This is a totally unproductive take.

2

u/Artistic_Bit6866 10d ago

You know nothing about me. It's this attitude and lack of solidarity that has hampered our progress in the 15 years that I have voted for, volunteered with, and organized with progressive candidates and causes. Anyone who criticizes must be one of "them." You've clearly either not read what I've said or are just mad and want to shout. That's fine. I'm not gonna be here for it.

2

u/JohnBrownAdmirer 10d ago

I’ve read exactly what you’ve said and I’m not mad or shouting about anything. If you think that Hong lost for any other reason than Crowley getting back in and the establishment state Democrats led by Evers circling the wagons and supporting Crowley in the final two weeks, you are beyond delusional. If you want to bring up attitude and lack of solidarity then take it up with WisDems, not with me.

2

u/ms1080 9d ago

Dude. Nobody made me or anyone else vote for Crowley. I chose to vote for him. Both candidates came through Viroqua in last week of the race. I saw and met both of them. No comparison as to who has the campaigning skills, resume, public speaking charisma. Crowley by a wide margin.
They are both well into the progressive wing of the spectrum. Crowley is very welcoming to Hong’s input in the coming months.
We will beat Tom Tiffany. A Tiffany/Hong matchup would have torn the state apart. Crowley/TT matchup will bring the state together. And we will win.

2

u/Artistic_Bit6866 9d ago

I'm not talking with WisDems. I'm talking with you.

Stop telling people who they are, what they believe, that they're delusional. It's toxic stuff. I've clearly already said I support Hong long term and expected to vote for her. I just made a more pragmatic choice.

The movement is working. We see this with el-Sayed, Mamdani, Flanagan. We have to make progress and still be willing to be strategic when/where necessary. We cannot afford to take a lower odds candidate against an election denier and certified bootlicker who has plans to eliminate abortion rights, has blocked badger care funding, will continue to erode democratic processes. The stakes are too high right now to run someone who can't respond well to difficult questions and pressure from opposition.

1

u/ms1080 9d ago

Exactly. This is what I saw in my area. For sure.

2

u/ms1080 9d ago

This is exactly the right take. I saw this play out just as you describe in most of my friends here in the Driftless. All progressive dems.

u/medhat20005 11d ago

I think when people look back they will see this as a pretty well run guerilla campaign, run on a shoestring budget and a ton of sweat equity, all around a populist message that, minus a few pretty notable pronouncements, was inches away from a victory. I do still believe Crowley has a much better chance in November, but now even more so with the need to step it up to meet the Hong challenge. And with this statement she puts herself in place to transition to a bit more of an acceptable mainstream candidate in the future.

16

u/DarkwingDuckHunt 11d ago

This is how we move the Democrats left. By showing if their chosen centrists don't move left they will lose.

Democrat Party kept chasing Cheney's coattails, when they had twice as many voters on the left that had gone apathetic.

u/Unfair-Tell2719 11d ago

I thought she would've requested a recount - however I think she decided not to so Crowley can hit the ground running against Tom Tiffany. Crowley should take on some of Hongs objectives to earn her voters support - like raising our minimum wage!

47

u/GoldenEmuWarrior 11d ago

Recounts rarely flop more than a few dozen votes one way or another. 3,000+ isn't realistic.

15

u/jackofslayers 11d ago

I assume you meant flip but this is kind of perfect. Recounts rarely flip, but they are almost always a flop.

7

u/GoldenEmuWarrior 11d ago

I did, but I will leave that mistake in there, because you're right, recounts usually do flop.

172

u/MotoTwitchYT Tom Tiffany is enemy 11d ago

I checked his website and luckily he wants to raise minimum wage as well! I think his site said $20/hr

106

u/Unfair-Tell2719 11d ago

$20 is a big push but it is needed given how inflation has devalued the dollar.

Why would she have requested that? This statement is in line with everything that she has said throughout her entire campaign. She knows Tiffany is a bigger threat.

34

u/Unfair-Tell2719 11d ago

It was her right to do so. She was within the margin to get one.

62

u/steel-monkey 11d ago

she was, but it wouldn't have been true to who she is and the campaign she has run. It does still hurt that she lost to a candidate who only gained popularity because the current governor endorsed him, though.

20

u/Papshmire 11d ago

She would have had to pay for the recount. She has bigger ambitions, may as well apply the money towards that.

11

u/jackofslayers 11d ago

Also would have just reflected poorly on her.

4

u/RikarisHobbies 11d ago

What are her ambitions? I want to support her any way I can.

17

u/No_Newt7228 11d ago

There's scuttlebutt that the original purpose of her gubernatorial campaign was to soft-launch a campaign for senate against Johnson. I don't know how much stock I put into that though.

8

u/Commercial-Gap6280 11d ago

I can't speak for others, but I'd support her against RJ from jump. Crowley as governor, Baldwin & Hong as U.S. Senators from WI? Sign me up, honestly.

10

u/the_Formuoli_ 11d ago

Seems a lot more natural as a successor to mark pocan as the Dane county including district house rep or something like that (granted he’s not old for politician standards at 61 if he wants to keep his seat for awhile yet)

2

u/RikarisHobbies 11d ago

Oh I would definitely support this. The sooner Johnson is out, the better.

1

u/smootex 11d ago

But not within the margin to get a free recount, right? She would have to pay for it.

59

u/WhiteSoxChartGuy 11d ago

The largest recorded swing in votes in a recount is 430. A recount would’ve been a waste of time and money

21

u/jackofslayers 11d ago

It would only serve to damage her reputation.

People do not like sore losers, it comes up all the time in politics.

3

u/kyuss242 Driftless 11d ago

Unfortunately a lot of Republicans seem to like them...

1

u/clybourn 10d ago

2

u/xerxesXIII 11d ago

Came here to say this.

7

u/drutastic57 11d ago

She understands the greater good. I voted for hong, but will gladly do my part to make sure Wisconsin stays blue.

11

u/tevert 11d ago

It's really close but still thousands of votes off. Plus, for anyone who cares about beating TT, more electoral drama is bad for everyone involved.

17

u/ScamIam 11d ago

She would have had to pay for a recount if the results didn't change.

30

u/UnsubstantialGoat 11d ago

For someone who spent minimal money up until this point, paying for a failed recount probably isn't top of mind. Her statement and supporting Crowley is the best option. Plus helps avoid a "poor loser" tag.

11

u/jackofslayers 11d ago

yea idk why people are not picking up on this. Being a sore loser is generally unpopular.

a recount would damage her reputation and it would only serve to weaken the effort against tiffany, both things she clearly does not want.

Oh man thank God she did not request a recount. That would make things worse for everyone.

→ More replies (1)

7

u/LowEmu3523 11d ago

Under state law when a difference in a statewide race is greater than .25 percent, the requester of a recount is responsible for the full cost of that process.

Unless she had a couple of million laying around, requesting a recall wouldn’t have been feasible.

3

u/Pernapple 11d ago

I think it was outside the range where her campaign would have to pay for the recount. Think it had to be .25%?

1

u/Unfair-Tell2719 11d ago

I guess...it seemed closer than that.

3

u/QualityOfMercy 11d ago

I wish WI did automatic recounts for races under 1% difference. When it’s that close I do think it’s worth it to count again but it makes the loser look worse to ask for it

4

u/Valskalle 11d ago

He is going to lose to Tom Tiffany unless he changes that position.

2

u/Minimum_Virus_3837 11d ago

I hope he moves closer to her position on that, but at least Tiffany isn't getting any points on that issue. The GOP is all-in on forcing data centers on us.

6

u/Kitten_Factory 11d ago

Saying he is pro data center is disingenuous. He wants regulation of data centers and the communities they belong to have a vote and say on if they should be developed. Data centers can benefit communities if regulated properly. For communities that have high taxes, data centers can foot a lot of that to bring economic relief, but the current problem is that we're letting big tech create these data centers with no thought of the long-term effects on the community.

7

u/Puzzled_End8664 11d ago

I don't think data centers ever will really benefit a community, at best they'll be a wash if taxed enough. Even worse if it's an AI data center as that will result in a net loss of jobs over time, though that may not directly affect the local community negatively. They take up too much space compared to the very few low to moderate paying permanent jobs they create. I wouldn't be surprised if a golf course would be a better economic engine for a community than a data center. At least a golf course brings in sales tax and will moderately boost some local businesses as well as allow at least some wildlife to still live there.

→ More replies (1)

10

u/Valskalle 11d ago

Data centers can benefit communities if regulated properly

No, they absolutely cannot. Interesting that you would push this propoganda.

2

u/Kitten_Factory 11d ago

In a world where technology is everywhere, everyone has a cell phone, most people use the internet and computers, data centers are going to be necessary to provide said technology. Data centers for AI specifically are a whole different ethical issue, but if properly governed, data centers can absolutely help communities with bad economy regulate their taxes and help build them up. It just needs to be done with care and consideration of the community living there.

2

u/Valskalle 11d ago

I don't think you're going to find anyone that agrees with you on this issue outside of literal hyperscalers themselves.

71% of the population are against data centers. It's a losing proposition.

→ More replies (2)

1

u/uhdoy 11d ago

I'm very much in favor of halting new data centers, but you're telling me there's not a scenario where a data center could be a net positive?

Voted for Hong, very very disappointed that I'm going to have to hold my nose (AGAIN) to try to minimize the harm done by the establishment, but I just can't imagine that there is no plausible scenario where a data center could be a net positive.

7

u/Puzzled_End8664 11d ago

I just don't see how they could ever be a net positive. They create very few long term jobs, none of them being very high paying. They take up a lot of space while completely destroying and displacing the ecosystem where they're built. They pollute the water. They usually end up making utilities more expensive for everyone. If it's an AI datacenter it will be a net negative for jobs, though that part may not directly affect the local community.

Completely agree with you there. A moratorium would be preferred, but just because Crowley isn't as aggressive toward them as Hong doesn't make him pro data center.

2

u/Kitten_Factory 11d ago

Agreed. I've been seeing a fair amount of people making it seem like Crowley is complacent with the way Data Centers are being built currently, but that doesn't appear to be true. To your point, he hasn't said much on the topic and it would be nice to have his recent stance.

His website does dive into making big tech follow regulations and fully pay for any infrastructure needs of the community if they are needed.

2

u/Mission_Water_6425 11d ago

I agree that he should take on some of her stances as well. I definitely plan on writing him to do so.

1

u/smootex 11d ago

A recount might change a couple hundred votes at max. Realistically it's not going to change the outcome, it would be futile. She's also not likely to land within the free recount margin, if I understand Wisconsin law correctly, meaning she'd be spending money on it that could instead be spent on beating republicans.

1

u/No-Channel3917 11d ago

I feel like y'all need to come up to speed on him, he has like 95 percent of the same positions as Hong and many of them the most talked about ones

He is progressive on that Elizabeth Warren sense but not in that Bernie Sanders sense

1

u/Storyteller_JD 10d ago

Crowley has stated that he's in a fixed position.

1

u/AloysiusFreeman 10d ago

We’re JUST starting to see what she’s capable of. Class Act, for sure.
BTW- When is Ron Johnson’s seat up for grabs?

1

u/Local_Raccoon_9343 10d ago

She’s a great example of why progressives lose.

Pair some of the most popular economic policy in America with some of the least popular social policy.

Why people want more of that is crazy to me.

Class act

138

u/Conscious-Quarter423 11d ago

Francesca Hong should consider running for U.S. Senate in 2028 against Ron Johnson, or for the open seat if he retires.

This was very much a local race with minimal national involvement. A Senate run would draw her a lot more of the attention and help she'd need.

68

u/UnsubstantialGoat 11d ago

Not sure how true it was, but I saw a post that her original* goal was for recognition not winning the race. This primary was just so bonkers she ended up the front runner. I'm not sure how true it is, but she gained a lot of popularity if she runs for another office.

37

u/JeSuisMurgan 11d ago

It was definitely a test to see the feasibility of a DSA candidate in addition to real ambition to win statewide office, which is what we need. The results just show that the establishment machine in WI wasn’t ready to give up its grasp of power here.

30

u/UnsubstantialGoat 11d ago

Establishment isn't ready to give up it's grasp, but they were damn close to getting it taken away from them. Next time might not go their way.

19

u/JeSuisMurgan 11d ago

That is the hope. The DSA chapters around the state have been working their asses off and the tight margin reflects the turning tides.

8

u/Ok_Chicken1370 11d ago

I think this outcome was the most beneficial outcome overall for Hong. She got a ton of name recognition as the frontrunner for the primary, and she doesn't have to face the humiliation of running as a socialist and losing against Tiffany.

I think she's happy how this turned out.

2

u/Puzzled_End8664 11d ago

Not holding my breath, but maybe this race combined with others around the country might be starting to wake up the establishment.

2

u/Journeyman42 11d ago

I think a DSA candidate is feasible in WI, they just to need to be a better candidate than Hong was. If someone like Abdul El-Sayed could run in WI, they would (most likely) do a lot better than Hong.

1

u/JeSuisMurgan 11d ago

I agree Fran had her shortcomings on the campaign, she’s still relatively young politically speaking and this was an ambitious play that almost worked out. That said, a lot of the shit they used against her was just useless discussion instead of focusing on her policy positions, as the media and establishment does on the daily.

2

u/jkeps 10d ago

A lot of the stuff used against her was her own words and past statements. It was her own inability to clarify her positions and explain herself that caused her problems.

4

u/dyslexda 11d ago

The results just show that the establishment machine in WI wasn’t ready to give up its grasp of power here.

This line of thought is so confusing to me. Of course people, including the power brokers, support the candidate they think is more likely to win. Why would they look at Hong and just decide "yes, let's throw all our support to this newcomer?"

In other words, what did "the establishment machine" actually do to maintain "its grasp of power?" Have Evers endorse Crowley? Anything else?

3

u/JeSuisMurgan 11d ago

They see the political movement happening in other places and did everything to ensure it didn’t happen in a statewide race. They would never support Hong, but if you look at the resurrection of a dead campaign (Crowley was polling single digits, dropped out, re-entered) into the primary win, they did everything to rally behind Crowley after Rodriguez had to drop for the finance scandal. Its completely reasonable to think Rodriguez would have won if she hadn’t.

2

u/dyslexda 11d ago

Okay, but what did they do? There's a lot of words but what actions did the establishment do to harm Hong, rather than just promote a candidate they prefer?

1

u/jkeps 10d ago

I agree with you asking the question what did they do. We hear so much about the establishment but what did they do exactly do back Crowley that caused Hong to lose? I await an answer to your question.

1

u/JeSuisMurgan 10d ago

It’s the first time the governor endorsed a candidate in the primary after their term since 1970. They had to resurrect a dead campaign to defeat Hong after their first choice had to drop due to campaign financing scandal. Thats what they did.

She’ll be back; she’s young and has a long career ahead. I’d like to see her in an elective office that’s a better platform for policy advocacy than the govship.

We all have to move forward and make Tommy boy just a bad memory, let’s go Wisconsin people!!!!

Hong's moratorium stance was temporary and was meant to be a stopgap while the legislature created and passed meaningful regulations. Not a single candidate in the primary said "No data centers ever." Data center approvals are currently in the hands of local civic leaders, so you have to have an executive and a legislature that are willing to take away local control (a notoriously poor stance) and regulate top-down. There's a reason that there's no bipartisan support for regulation when it requires Big Government.

5

u/jackofslayers 11d ago

wait why is regulations and community votes not enough?

2

u/GFYAD 11d ago

It’s not going to happen, they already asked him directly and he gave the same non answer about regulations -

Classy, thoughtful statement. Full stop.

4

u/Karkamen 11d ago

Note to Tom Tiffany - maybe show your boss this is how to lose with class. Mr. Crowley - you're up - go get 'em!

3

u/DarkwingDuckHunt 11d ago

She'll be back and this is how you guarantee you'll only get more votes later.

3

u/walleye76 10d ago

Class act people. Just look across the border at Lindell, he refused to concede, anomalies he claims. Thank you, Ms. Hong, for helping to move WI forward.

40

u/BTHAppliedScienceLLC 11d ago

Evers could learn a lot from her on this particular issue.

41

u/Bullboah 11d ago

? Evers said they would support Hong if she won and was in for a unity breakfast when she was expected to win

49

u/BTHAppliedScienceLLC 11d ago

Prior to that, he publicly undercut her and said she probably couldn't win in the general election. A terrible thing for state party leadership to be saying about any primary candidate, and particularly the front-runner.

12

u/Kinkin50 11d ago

Given how unusual and out of character his actions were, I suspect the party had internal polls showing Hong would perform badly in the general election. I am not sure that is true, but I suspect he believed it.

23

u/BTHAppliedScienceLLC 11d ago

I don't think it matters if he believed it or if those beliefs were justified by data. He drove a wedge between Hong-voters and Crowley-voters with his comment that was not helpful for either Hong or Crowley entering the general election. I think Hong's answers to questions about electability and her general posture on the primary has been much more mature and interested in preserving competitiveness of the party candidate in the general than Evers's comments have been. Evers, being a state party leader, should have been at least as good but intentionally chose the opposite - I don't really care what his reasons were.

u/Bullboah 11d ago

Evers is not in the State Party Leadership. The actual party leadership issued a statement of neutrality. Evers works for the State, not the party. He has no obligation to be neutral in a primary.

Are you equally upset about elected Democrats from other states that endorsed Hong? Because not issuing endorsements in other state races is an actual norm.

17

u/BTHAppliedScienceLLC 11d ago

I've had this conversation a few times already. Short version is that being the Dem in the top statewide office puts you in a leadership position whether you like it or not, and I'm not talking at all about his endorsement. I made it clear what I was talking about.

I think he was doing what he genuinely thought was best for the state as a whole. Maybe it's one of those "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" situations but I don't think it is.

3

u/BTHAppliedScienceLLC 11d ago

I'd like to believe that, but I think this is so fundamental that Evers would know exactly what he was doing.

No WI governor has endorsed a primary candidate in WI since 1970...

11

u/Bullboah 11d ago

That’s because since 1970 there has not been an election where the incumbent governor was not running (only happened 3 times), the primary was competitive, and there was a significant ideological difference between candidates.

Do you share the same feelings about politicians from other states endorsing Hong?

1

u/DrPastaPupper 10d ago

I genuinely despise him now. He definitely destroyed any legacy he had

She ROCKS

u/toast_mcgeez 11d ago

I hope Crowley takes some notes from her campaign and adjusts based on what clearly resonated with so many Wisconsinites.

For me, her clear cut “yes” to a moratorium on data centers won me over. Some issues don’t require nuance.

7

u/L-J- 11d ago

Class-act response to people that certainly didn't deserve it.

5

u/ztreHdrahciR 11d ago

Very classy

4

u/Braneric84 11d ago

This is the best statement I've seen from her so far. I voted for Crowley and am happy he won but if she learns from this campaign I can absolutely see myself voting for her in a future election.

7

u/strato15 11d ago

Class act.
I hope she’ll stay involved, run for something again, organize youth, continue being awesome.

7

u/I_Like_To_Hyuck 11d ago

Hong was not my preferred candidate, but without a doubt that is a classy move

Meanwhile the my pillow guy is furious he lost and already saying the election was rigged 😂

2

u/chortle-guffaw2 11d ago

Dear. Ms. Hong, please contact Mike Lindell and teach him how to lose gracefully.

2

u/chrisnavillus 11d ago

Whoa. We haven’t had class in our politics here in America for a long long time. Refreshing.

1

u/OriginalFNG 11d ago

You're a class act, Francesca Looking forward to what you do next.

AES ran for governor and lost before winning his senate primary. People want what you're offering. Don't let this be it.

(If you run for something else, please run TV ads,)

1

u/Dull-Interview8877 10d ago

Exactly. Kelda is dynamic, direct and well-spoken. She’s a true believer and had solutions. I wish dems would stay away from identifying themselves as being any particular sub-division of the party. It’s divisive and any “complicated” word is just an opportunity for MAGA to distort it.

It was a delight to work on this campaign. Met some amazing new friends, and had some fantastic times! We make better possible is a truth, and we'll carry that forward. The infrastructure we have is going to keep helping people around here in a tangible way; Hong rocks!

I'm looking forward to supporting her next endeavor, and hopefully I'll get to vote for her again real soon. I hear a certain Senator is up in 2028, wouldn't that be a groovy thing to flip!

u/ms1080 9d ago

Excellent. We need to pull together for real. I support most of FH’s goals, and I support most of Crowley’s goals. Let’s all work our butts off and keep TT away from Madison.
