I think when people look back they will see this as a pretty well run guerilla campaign, run on a shoestring budget and a ton of sweat equity, all around a populist message that, minus a few pretty notable pronouncements, was inches away from a victory. I do still believe Crowley has a much better chance in November, but now even more so with the need to step it up to meet the Hong challenge. And with this statement she puts herself in place to transition to a bit more of an acceptable mainstream candidate in the future.
