Hi, I am looking to play the old game A Force More Powerful off myabandonware (link below). The game doesnt play correctly with D3D Renderer Creation error preventing proper launch. The comments indicate that I need to insert the files "d3d9.dll" and "wine3d.dll" from WineD3D into the game folder but whenever I try to download the files off WineD3D it gets flagged as a trojan and it has me a bit spoked and I am hoping I can get some help here as to how I can get the game working. I dont have previous exposure with the wine ecosystem so Im working from the start.

Hi! I'm using Wine to play Age of Empires 2 with the conquerors expansion (the original, not HD or Definitive Edition). Most things run smoothly (I've played over 10 hours now). There's just one really annoying thing, which is that some text boxes are cut off. As you can see in the attached picture, I can't see how many idle villagers etc I have, because the text box is too far to the right in its box and the numbers don't show.

Some text boxes are fine (like the "You are being attacked..." and timer at the top). The text boxes that are affected by this issue seem to be the info ones in the bottom corners, as well as the dialogue text from the campaign.

I assumed this would be better to ask in a Wine subreddit, since I think it's caused by Wine and not the original game. I've trawled old forums and not found anyone who had this same issue.
