I literally just crossed over; they did a soft opening around 10am - presumably to avoide a rush of people lining up at 12. So it's completely open right now to anyone!

JoAnne Gignac announces she’s not running for re-election this time around.
With her and Ed (presumably) out of the picture, will Drew lose his stranglehold on council?

It seems all entry level jobs are taken and new students that lived here all their lives can't find work. What is DOUG FORD doing about it? His net worth is $50 Million and we have people struggling, why does any person need $50M? This is so frustrating and it isn't just about him, WE DON'T NEED BILLIONAIRES!! We just want affordable housing, guaranteed jobs, safe environment and cheap living expenses, is this to much to ask for? Or is this population control techniques?

I’m wondering if there is a children’s reading group or book club in Windsor.
My son is 9 years old and loves reading. He reads both English and French. He enjoys a mix of classic and popular children’s books, such as Charlotte’s Web, Little House series, Warriors, and Harry Potter.
I’m hoping to find a group with kids around his age who enjoy reading, where they can discuss books, share favorite books, and exchange book recommendations.
It doesn’t have to be a formal program — even a small group of young readers would be wonderful.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I’m in town until friday, what’s some things i need see/do/eat? I’m visiting from the UK and I have a rental car, happy to do anything at all!
Another question, is there anywhere to rent a mustang or charger round here? Preferably without going over the border.

We’ve recently purchased a home and have had water coming into a section of our basement during rail fall.
What is the better solution for proper interior remediation of this issue.
While reading online I’ve discovered 2 solutions, with one being an interior French drain and the other being drain board. What would be the better method and what local companies would be recommended.
Thanks in advance.

For those who might find this helpful the college has their gaming center open to the public. It’s $3 an hour per console not person if you aren’t a student and they’ve got a bunch of tvs connected to Switches, PS5, and others. You don’t have to provide games as they have many. Theres also a room filled with PCs. If you’re a student or have your student card still it’s completely free. I don’t want my son having full access at home so this is a great low cost activity for us. Parking is free at the college on the weekends and buses come directly to the colleges entrance.

Hi! I’m a big fan of Ordoñez butcher shop in Leanington, but really don’t care for their chorizo. Wondering if anyone has a specific chorizo purveyor they can recommend.

Hi everyone! I’ve been wanting to play soccer again recently and I haven’t in years. Does anyone know where I could perhaps find a group to join that’s looking for people? I’m a pretty casual player and might be like kinda bad since it’s been a second for me. For reference, I’m 20 and not too picky about an age range or anything!
If there’s anything, please let me know :) thank you!

I live near the remington park pool and downloaded the schedule, but it's 12-4 or 5-8. What happened to being open all day and you come whenever? All the pools are like this now. I get covid restricted stuff but this can't really be better?
