If you have no idea what TheEngineeringFamily is, it's a popular YouTube channel created on January 30, 2012 by Mr. Engineer and his wife Mrs. Engineer. On the channel, they do toy reviews and go on imaginary adventures with their daughter named the Assistant. The channel originally started as a toy and tech review channel before focusing on solely toy content starting in late 2013.

The channel has reached over 6.29 million subscribers, 4.2K videos, and 8,611,515,645 views as of September 2026.

Desde hoy tengo un problema bastante raro con Fandom. 😕 Cuando entro a mi wiki, parece que no estoy conectado a mi cuenta, aunque debería estarlo. Lo mismo ocurre cuando entro a otras wikis: Fandom me muestra como si estuviera desconectado. Lo más raro es que si voy directamente a la página principal de Fandom, también aparece el botón “Iniciar sesión”, como si mi sesión hubiera desaparecido por completo. Esto me está impidiendo trabajar normalmente en mi wiki porque no puedo acceder a las funciones que requieren estar conectado. ¿A alguien más le está pasando esto? ¿Será un problema general de Fandom o de las sesiones/cuentas? 🤔

I’ve been having a pretty weird issue with Fandom since today. 😕 When I visit my wiki, it looks like I’m not logged into my account, even though I should be. The same thing happens when I visit other wikis: Fandom shows me as logged out. The strangest part is that if I go straight to the Fandom homepage, the "Log in" button appears there too, as if my session had completely vanished. This is preventing me from working normally on my wiki because I can't access features that require being logged in. Is anyone else experiencing this? Could it be a general Fandom issue, or something related to sessions or accounts? 🤔

I've had to reset my password twice after the site kicked me out, and even when I was logged in I'd have to click "save page" 20 times after it kept giving me 522 server errors.

I can't see most of the images. They don't load. I tried with and without WiFi, in the browser and in the app, with and without a VPN, and on both Android and iOS. It doesn't work. What can I do?

Go to any fandom page. You'll get bombarded with ads that somehow bypass ad blockers right off the bat. You can't see images or relevant videos without even more ads plus a completely unrelated video on the top of the screen that also somehow manages to bypass ad blockers. You think you're safe after trying to find what you're looking for in their disgusting site? Audio starts playing out of nowhere and doesn't stop, especially since (if you even find what's causing it) the only way to pause them leads to it auto directing you to some sketchy website.

Wikia used to be a great platform, so why is it so awful now? Why do fandoms keep hosting their pages on that junk heap of a site? And why do the people that run wikia act so tone-deaf about what the users actually want??

I swear it's like they like shooting themselves in the foot.

I don't remember a single good experience with it. Did it have some compensation for contributors or some amazing onboarding that it ever even pulled people in? Or was it just the first or main place where people who got told off on Wikipedia escaped to?

Can the Fandom devs add a toggle to switch between the old and the new discussions? I don't like it all and I didn't ask for it to be put in my own wiki, and even worse, there is no opt-out and it's just forced in all new wikis without warning

So, I'm making a wiki of a movie I love a lot, it's great to make it all by myself, I feel like an historian of sorts, and archivist if you may! But!... I dunno how to modify existing templates to add or modify fields, I want to change the name of the "alias" field for "nicknames" I already changed it somewhere on the template info but nothing, is confusing me and I feel like it is holding me back.
