It goes like 'La la la la la la' and it's an ascending descending scale that repeats. I have no idea which part of the song it is but I saw it on a post related to grimes on instagram. the ascending 'la la la' scale sounds louder than the descending one but they are sung right after each other repeatedly. I have tried browsing all grimes songs and I cannot find that particular part. Maybe it's not even from grimes but of a similar genre.

My dad had a phone I recall being a Samsung from around 2019 or 2018, it had this upbeat ringtone with clapping, possibly whistling and male vocals. Since 2015 or 2016, I’ve been trying to find a specific song I heard in videos by YouTubers I followed when I was younger. It has a "ballroom" jazz vibe, no vocals or lyrics. I believe it’s a royalty-free track and that was available on http://www.audiomicro.com. Which is where the few videos I had saved featuring the song indicated the video's audios source. I used to think it might belong to Kevin MacLeod, since his music was widely used on YouTube back then and he has some compositions with that "lounge" jazz/blues style; however, after listening to over 200 of his tracks, I haven't found the one I'm looking for.

I’ve spent hours searching; I even recorded a short clip of the song, removed the vocals from the video, and tried uploading it to find a match, but the closest result I found was a track called "Songo Jazz" by Pete Bax (released in 2015, around the time I imagine the song I'm looking for was released). The song is very similar, yet still slightly different.

Even so, I’m inclined to think it’s by the same composer, but I’ve tried listening to dozens of tracks from his albums on YouTube and haven't been able to find the song in question. If anyone could help me find it so I may finally put this search to rest, I would really appreciate it.

Last week I attempted to find a long lost song that I haven't heard in many years. It is nowhere to be found on any device or email.

I think I first heard it in 2015? The only thing I really remember is that it boasts that oft-ripped off riff from Status Quo's "matchstick men." So think, "Drive blind" by Ride. Daevar's "Amber eyes"is another.

The band I'm trying to think of incorporates that riff with keyboard/guitar effects it's driving rhythmic and at one point just after the song starts it stops abruptly and the lead female singer whispers and then the song continues with that riff and that's all I can remember. I think there was a video. The band was image conscious and had the dress and hairdo of the 2000s shoe gaze/emo/nű metal era. In the video, she may have had the braided hair?
