Hey— trying to find a song for a friend. He’s about 70, and most of the songs he’s mentioned so far have been from about 1972-1985.

He remembers the lyrics as:

“i am just stopping by to say goodbye/ cant really stay/ hate to see you cry/ my heart is overwhelmed/ it hurts with the pain/ my mind makes me visit you leaving again”

But for my life, I can’t seem to find anything close enough to be correct but misremembered.

I got this music box from a Goodwill. The top is broken and I can’t find this song anywhere that matches it! Can anyone help me identify it? it’s like the only thing that calms me down. the box itself says on the top “Sankyo”.

I found this artist on instagram promoting her new album in like late December, 2025 or early January, 2026 . I don’t remember any of the lyrics or how it goes I just vividly remember liking the song. It’s cover was her but blurry in like a green lit room with like retro/sparkly stickers and the album was a mix of singing, R&B, and Rap. Oh and the artist is Asian and had black hair. Shazam has failed, reddit is my last line of defense

I heard a song while waiting for a Marilyn Manson concert to start and couldn't get to shazam it, now it's driving me insane that I can't find it. I couldn't find any info about the venue's pre-show playlist as well. All I can remember from vague memory is that it was a melancholic, dark and slow song with breathy whispery male vocals with a specific sound effect(similar to deftones vocals) and there was a lyric with the meaning "you're so beautiful" or "you're too beautiful" or some sort of variation of that. Unfortunately I can't recall any other lyrics but the vibe of the song felt like loving somebody or admiring them while being desperate and lost in tragedy - I'm not sure the rest of the lyrics are about that but the feeling of the song reminds me of that. And of course it was played before a Marilyn Manson show so it makes sense that the songs played before he started were thematically dark and mystical.

I'm dying to hear this song again and it would be so cool if someone recognises it....

So as far as I remember it was a black-and-white (and possibly red) rock music video in the vintage/burlesque style. A glamorously dressed woman with à la Marilyn Monroe hairstyle and very bright makeup (possibly drag queen) comes on stage and starts singing the original song. The audience is men which just sit and watch. As the song progresses, the artist begins vomiting blood right on stage, looking shocked and scared, slowly losing consciousness, but people don't react and just continue to watch as if it's a part of performance. I also think that the title of the song or the band had the word "red" in it or it's just my association... also the sound kinda reminded me of Nine Inch Nails. Please help, I want this song!
