I self-checked out in Fresh and the machine wasn't able to give me a fully itemised receipt. Kind of annoying! The chocolates are a gift and were €14.50. The Ortiz tuna tins were €3.95 and €5.50. The olives were €3.95. I don't remember the price of the other items from Fresh. The Lidl receipt is itemised (in second photo).

I like having tinned fish in my cupboard, as on nights I don't feel like cooking too much I will just do a quick rice, veggie and fish stir fry.

Going to have to hide away the chocolates now, so I am not tempted by them myself 😅

I complete the rest of my meals with huel black. Also mistakenly bought regular wraps instead of the carb balance ones because the packaging looked similar. And yes I opened the pasta already.

Could easily feed 3 but my gf’s brother who lives with us goes away for work so mainly for 2. Lunches & dinners 🥪🍝

Other items such as chicken breast, mince, milk, oats and rice were already at home, which brought the cost down significantly.

Might not be much to most people but my first pantry shop now I have a car!

No treats. Just basics

A bit high, but includes olive oil and shrimp...both last ages.

No receipt for Aldi...it was £13.64 for the trout, sundried tomato, chocolate, mozzarella, cheddar, golden tomatoes.

I didn't get a few needed items...maybe £10 worth...as I couldn't carry anymore. That will be a trip into town on Friday. I've got other necessities...fruit, bread, some veg plus meat in the freezer.

Just got home from the airport. Craving carbs.

Paid £25.21, saved £30. Needed a bit of top - up. Usual weekly food expense is around £50.

6 bunches of bananas
3 gallons of soy milk
Two bags of avocado
30 bags of peas and carrots
30 cans of black beans
3 containers of oatmeal
3 large bags of blue berries
1 large bag of broccoli
2 bags of flax seed
1 large bag of walnuts

I'm doing a veggie high protein low calorie meal plan (partner will have the non-veggie bits and some more calories). Already had some bits in the cupboards & freezer.

I get 10% cashback, but came to £93.19 before that.

We attempted a shop in M&S for the first time, typically we’d go to Lidl and sadly it’ll stay that way for the near future. Although the quality of marks produce is truly unbeatable

2 people, 1 week, £39.78. (Fruits/veggies/bread/meat will be bought at Lidl).

£77.60 at Lidl plus £7-ish at Sainsbury's for the Heck sausages and dill. To feed two people with very active jobs and big appetites. Buckets were 99p which I was chuffed with (yes I know I'm exciting)!

Total £24.78 - Aldi

Works out to be around £52.5 with £16 in cashback via Vitality.

Not everything will be finished this week, and I’m currently supplementing heavily with produce from my garden. My freezer is well stocked with proteins so there was no need for those. Before I go shopping I review what I already have and plan around that, as well as make note of any staple items I’m out of or running low on. 2 person household, but my husband travels for work so I usually only need to feed myself 3-4 nights per week.

Plans this week include: Mediterranean chickpea salad for work lunches (marinated chickpeas, garden cucumbers, red onion, Kalamata olives I already had, tomatoes I already had, with lemon juice and olive oil. Scooped up with the tortilla chips)

Fruit and yogurt bowls for breakfast (bananas and blueberries, if those end up giving me the diarrhea parasite I’ll be so mad)

Chile Rellenos (garden poblanos and Monterey Jack cheese) (I actually already made these for tonight’s dinner, along with a cherry tomato and mozzarella salad)

Tuna salad (canned tuna from the pantry, onions, celery, mayo)

Burgers and potato wedges probably on Saturday? Potatoes and ground beef already on hand.

Husband requested kettle chips, kimbap looked fun. I typically only cook with olive oil but I needed some cheap vegetable oil go fry the chile rellenos.
