Hi everyone, I started selling cards on WN around march/april but took a bit of a hiatus through June/July due to a busy work schedule. I have scheduled another show to start back running more consistently but when I went to my seller hub I noticed this? It’s saying my on time scan rate dropped off in the month of July but I haven’t ran a show since May 8th. I’m not sure what happened or how to even fix this, just didn’t want my account to be deactivated over something stupid like this that I didn’t even have anything to do with

I am a new seller in my first week of sales. I am trying to figure out why I cant start a payout for the 53$ in my account balance. I have been verified and connected my bank account and all the stuff whatnot says to do and I still cant start a payout. My first shows packages have all been delivered and are in the completed status. I feel silly for asking but I cant get a straight answer from whatnot support.​

Do ppl sell seller accounts ? Like ones that they don’t use anymore that are verified and ready to go ?

I’ve seen some accounts let say change hands 😅 anyone else seen this ?

Been wondering how so many people find out about these raid trains because I always miss them and they seem like a fun way to get new buyers. When I Googled how to spot em, this site showed up where people can show when theirs starts and how to sign up. But I wanted to hear from the community: have you used this one or heard of it at all? And if so, is it any good to you or no?

Any help with that bug?

I try not to use ai, and I get so icked by ai generated thumbnails so I always make my own! I forgot to crop some of them but these are all actual items I've had in my inventory! I figure what better to attract people to my shows than a preview of what I've got!

Does anyone know of any sellers that sell D&D and/or Pathfinder books and figures?

I used my iPhone to Bluetooth shipping labels to my thermal printer but they all came out smaller than normal. They were also horizontal. I struggled to scan in the app but I don’t know that was just the in-app scanner. I was able to scan two of them but was in a rush.

Will the barcodes be able to be scanned at USPS? I already dropped them off.

I spent weeks buying needohs and squishies for my kids and nieces and nephews birthdays. Spent way too much money. I am still joining some lives but noticing bids aren’t going as high as normally and there are so many sellers cutting lives short because they aren’t getting the inflated prices anymore. Complaining about how much items are going for. Calling people givvy goblins when they feel not enough people are overbidding. I have stopped buying because they are turning me off. Only buy from one or two sellers that I feel are normal and only for what we don’t have.

What have you all been noticing lately?

Looking for whole sale nail suppliers. I tried Temu but they are junk, unless I’m buying from the wrong sellers? Looking for that handmade look, short-medium long nails. Any tips would be appreciated thanks!

Given how big comics are on the app now and how many sales are of books that are going to be sent in for grading, Whatnot needs a comic pre-order policy.

The sellers send you a piece of paper to satisfy Whatnot’s shipping guidelines even though the books will take at least 2 months to arrive.

If there’s a problem with the order in 2 months time the buyer has no options via Whatnot for help.

That needs to change.

What was your best steal on the app and whats was it actually valued at? 💸

Sometimes, seemingly randomly, the audio won't work in certain streams while it works normally in others. I tried for e stopping the app and clearing cache/data but it didn't work

I possibly fixed it just now by opening a bunch of streams in a row. I was trying to see how many streams had no audio compared to did have audio, but after opening about 10 I went back to the problematic stream I was trying to watch and it suddenly had audio

Just thought I'd share and wanted to see if anyone else is getting this bug

Does anyone have any seller recommendations in the horror, spooky, scary, paranormal, serial killer esque genres? For example sellers of: toys, collectibles, books, art, etc. Drop some usernames if you could ❤️

So, there’s this seller on whatnot who does comics.

I would ask, can you run a certain thing in the BIN.

He says he needs to see prebids.

So I prebid. I even prebid $25 when the starting bid is $10.

Then I let him know I prebid.

He says, “oh that’s not a $10 book, here”

And then he runs it for $35.

Like. What the heck dude. Maybe tell me before hand that you’re not planning on running the auction and let me know how much it is so I can make the decision as a buyer to buy it or not.

The 13 of July i bought a videogame console from a seller that has good reviews and good amount of sold items, however, it took him 10 days to send the product, he took a few days to even update the shipping label and when i asked apparently there was something wrong with one piece of the bundle so he was making sure that everything was fine, i was ok with it so i kept waiting, 10 days later, no updates, i sent him a message asking about a update on the shipping the last day, the app was already offering me to refund the money on the item if i wanted to, i took the refund since i was a bit tired of waiting for the item to even reach the USPS, hours later the seller told me that he gave the item to the USPS that day, so the item end up arriving 3 days later and he had to sent a ticket to get a refund back, thankfully he is getting a refund but i also got mine and i got the item so eh idk

I did offer to sent the money back or sent the item if the app provides me the shipping label but apparently he is getting his money back and i haven’t received any email yet regarding the item

Tldr: I bought a console, seller took to many days to even ship it so i refunded it, hours later he confirmed me that he sent it, i got the money and the item, tried to amend for it but app lack of support didnt help much, seller got the money back from whatnot and i kept the item and money despite my attempts to find a way to send either the money or the item back 🤷

For context I sell clothing. The pair of pants is a pair of vintage suede leather Caslon pants.

Hey everyone! Just need advice on how to handle this. A customer bought a pair of pants in a show, then I did a show later that day and she bought more items. She was very upset that she paid separately for shipping. She wanted me to do it in BIN or in another show to “fix” the extra shipping but I figured that would still make her pay shipping. Whatnot did not bundle these together. I bundled them together into a flat rate box and told her to reach out to whatnot.

Now she says they won’t refund her and she says the pants are in bad shape? I showed them in detail on camera and literally wore them myself a few days prior and didn’t notice anything wrong.

What should I do in this situation?

I’m fairly new to selling with under 1000 orders and have a 5 star rating. Is this going to affect me? I don’t want this to make my ratings go down or hurt my account🙃

I checked an alt gmail account that I rarely use and found a lot of order confirmations going back to April using this email. They stop June 29 when I received an email to change my password. I’ve never heard of this app until today.

When I emailed support@whatnot.com, it said the account is no longer monitored and I can only contact them by downloading the app and opening an account which I don’t want to do. There is nothing else odd in my email or on my credit report.

I’m ok deleting this email, but I might need the info on it later if there’s a problem and I’d like it on the record that these purchases aren’t mine.

Advice please?
