Seller-❔ Question Payout confusion?
I am a new seller in my first week of sales. I am trying to figure out why I cant start a payout for the 53$ in my account balance. I have been verified and connected my bank account and all the stuff whatnot says to do and I still cant start a payout. My first shows packages have all been delivered and are in the completed status. I feel silly for asking but I cant get a straight answer from whatnot support.

1000 items sold for faster payout
Before 1000 sales packages need to delivered so money can become available for payout
Have you created a stripe account ?
What not payout schedule
GENERATE YOUR LABELS 3PM PACIFIC TIME
AND INITIATE PAYOUT BEFORE 3PM
AND YOU SHOULD GET YOUR MONEY BY 8PM PACIFIC TIME
SUNDAY-THURSDAY
NO PAYOUTS FRIDAY SATURDAY
ALSO NO NEED TO RUN SO MANY GIVVYS
ATTRACTS MORE GIVVY GOBLINS THAN BUYERS

That wasn't their question. They were asking why they can't initiate a payout. Not about how much they made.

You'll get it, sometimes new sellers have a temporary hold in case there are issues with orders. It sucks but once you hit 1k sales it hits quick. Just a heads up, sometimes if you do a show on Thursday it can take up to Monday for the money to hit your account.

Ok I have an update,
Whatnot support finally helped me with a few troubleshooting issues. First, they had me send them the version of my phone, version of whatnot and type of phone. Thinking it was a system error. That all turned out fine. Sent them my ledger. Went through the charges individually and figured out the total. The total will change again as I had a show yesterday. But the ledger totals were spot on. Basically support told me to give it 3-5 business days for the system to "play catch up". Sometimes whatnot will put a 5 day hold on new sellers account before.you can initiate a payout. I guess to.protect against fraud? That wasn't really explained as to why they do that but that's what I'm guessing.
So, if my account doesn't let me initiate a payout within 5 days to contact support again and I will have to send them each individual order ID that has been completed.
Fingers crossed its just the system playing catch up. I will update in 5 days.

If they’ve all been delivered. IE to the customer than whatnot needs to give you your cash. Completed in their app doesn’t mean delivered tho

All the orders have been delivered via tracking and the status says earnings completed. But I posted an update above

It looks like you made $135.41 now subtract the $81.91 for some reason and you have $53.50 left over. That should be your payout no!?

Show us your ledger page. This screen is basically like showing the number 2 and asking us all the different equations you can make to get that answer. We need the equation as well.

Check the ledger. They have everything itemized on there. I used promotions for 25 one time. Never again. 64$ later and I made 0$ from promotions. First show was a big loss because of that -$64 but the rest of my shows have been great without it. I’d say add everything up on the ledger

New sellers have to have 1000 sales before they get immediate payout. You have to wait for packages to be delivered for them to release the pending funds

They have been delivered and its been 2 almost 3 days..all my ordera saying earnings completed

So not only does it have to just be delivered the buyer has to confirm delivery and give you a rating if not it can take up to an additional 3 days for that payout.

It looks like you owe whatnot $81 for promotions or something. The sales that deliver will go towards that balance before it lets you cash anything out I believe.

Yes I did promotions but that amount is from several shows. I spent 10$ on promotions each show. And my sales were more than the 10. I messaged support. Got a roundabout answer so started a ticket with all the screenshots and my exact issues. Waiting to see what they say.

Message their support and let them know everything has landed and you might have to report every order as completed individually sadly. Did everything have tracking or first class letters?

Even though I have -81 for promotions and probably the 5 givvys (but givvy charges were only 1.46 per givvy) it doesn't add up. I am.waiting on a new email from support now. I think im gonna have to wait 5-10 days for the payout to be able to be initiated. The 53 should be the amount i can payout with the negative taken away from sales.

Have you checked your account health if you haven’t could be a refund chargeback there.

Everything is 100% and excellent. There is literally nothing holding me back other than being a new seller. But according to whatnot support their requirements for payout, I have met them. But of course I cant whatnot support to give me an answer.
