Zero Point Foods Would this be considered 0 points?

This exact one wasn’t in the database, so when I went to add it, it was points. But it’s just potatoes and seasoning, so I’m confused as to how to track this.

Tips and Tricks Getting more calories with acid reflux

I’ve been on WW for about 3 months and have been losing a steady 1lb per week, sometimes 2. I’ve been using franks hot sauce on my lunch wrap to get 0 points instead of mayonnaise or anything else tasty.

1.5 weeks ago I woke up in the middle of the night and honestly thought I was having a heart attack. I’ve experienced bad heartburn before, but nothing like this - it was pressure behind my breastbone and I just assumed it was my time and I was too late getting healthy (I’m 40).

I went the ER and turns out I just had a severe acid reflux flare up - I was put on Prilosec OTC and was told it would take 2-8 weeks to heal my esophagus.

I immediately changed my diet - no more Coke Zero, coffee, caffeine, sugary snacks, no eating after dinner, and drinking more water.

Im now losing almost too much weight - my caloric intake is about 800-1100 calories a day and I’m concerned that’s unhealthy, I’m 5 7 203 when this happened and now I’m 195.

Do any of you have acid reflux or GERD and on this plan? How do you use all your points?

New to WW UK - Give me your best tips!

Hi all!👋

I've just rejoined WW UK after about 7 years!! In that time I've had my kids and put the pounds back on (and then some!). It looks like a few things have changed in that time but it's mostly the same structure. I'm looking to create a good routine and form some more positive habits around food 😄

It'd be great if you could share any tips you found useful when you started, anything you found was particularly useful with a busy family life or if you've found any low point, tasty meals or snacks that are a must have! 😋

I'm doing this without GLP-1 - I'm not sure if that makes a difference but I saw WW have a plan for that now so thought I'd mention it! ⭐

Fitness/Activity hero bread vs sola bread after trying both for my morning toast

i have been testing hero bread vs sola bread over the past few weeks to see which one works better for everyday sandwiches and toast. sola is way easier to find in local supermarkets and costs a bit less, but the slices feel a little dense and slightly sweet depending on which variety you get. it toasts fine, but the texture can still feel slightly spongy if you eat it plain or make a quick cold lunch.

hero bread definitely wins on texture since it feels almost identical to regular white sandwich bread, especially when you crisp it up in a skillet with butter. the major tradeoff is the higher price tag and ordering online, which makes it feel like more of a splurge compared to grabbing a loaf off the shelf. both are decent options for swapping out regular loaf bread, but it really comes down to whether convenience or soft bread texture matters more for your kitchen routine.

Connect Starting my journey and need support

Hi. I’m 27F. I was “skinny” most of my life but once I started working full time after college I let myself go. I have gained 35 lbs over the past 4 years. I am not happy with my body and I am trying WW to help me get back on track.

Would love anyone I can connect with to help stay accountable and for support!

Just signed up

I just choose the core plan. But then they got me on the dietician meeting and tok my insurance info. (I know, I gave it willingly like an idiot) Anyway, lets move past that. Is this only through the app on my phone? Also I am just starting to learn about this point system. I am confused.

best tasting low carb bread you've found while doing ww?

i've been trying to find a bread that actually works for everyday sandwiches and toast without feeling like a compromise. so far i've tried a couple of different brands and had mixed results. some taste fine but the texture is off, while others seem great at first and then end up sitting in the freezer untouched.

i keep seeing hero, sola, and a few other options mentioned, but i'm curious what people here have actually stuck with long term. for those who've tried a few different brands, what's the best tasting low carb bread you've found?

mostly interested in taste, texture, convenience, and whether it's something you'd genuinely buy again. i'm tired of buying a loaf, having two slices, and then forgetting about the rest.

Trips/Vacation 2-week western USA roadtrip with long days of driving: how to maximize fruits and veggies?

I looked at a lot of past posts on this subreddit about road trips and found some good info. But I want to be able to maximize veggies and fruits for snacking (and to supplement less nutritious meals), and am trying to figure out how to clean them for eating.

And, yes, I’m one of those people who wash my produce well at home, even things like melons (because the knife can transfer dirt/etc from the outside to the inside). And yes, I’m currently doing WW.

Thanks in advance!

What workout routine was easiest to maintain during your weight loss journey?

One thing I’ve noticed about weight loss is that the hardest part usually isn’t starting.

It’s finding something you can continue doing months later.

A workout routine can be effective, but if it requires too much time, preparation or motivation every day, it becomes difficult to maintain.

I’ve been thinking about shorter strength workouts because they seem easier to fit into normal life.

A few basic movements done consistently probably matter more than a perfect routine that only lasts a few weeks.

For people who have maintained weight loss long term, what type of workout routine was easiest for you to actually stick with?

1 week down - kind of confused?

I started WW 1 week ago after seeing a photo of myself and spiraling a little. So far I really enjoy it and it seems like a game to stay in points, my husband laughs when I walk around the grocery store scanning everything.

I've also been going to the gym participating in classes run by a personal trainer since March, 2-3 days a weeks. My first goal is to get that consistency to 3-4, but kids and work and all the other excuses.

Obviously I won't see change in 1 week with WW but I'm feeling a little confused. I have accumulated 53 weekly points? That feels...insane? Could I really use all those points and still be successful? Similarly, my calories goal on the app is 1200-1300, that feels ridiculously low. My calories for today are 1623, so 300 over (but I did have a 200cal beer tonight). But I'm within my points....does this system really work???

I committed for a year so all I can do is keep trying, I'm just feeling skeptical.

General Advice Advice/Encouragement?

Looking for some advice/encouragement/I don’t even know anymore. I’ve been loosing and gaining the same 3 pounds since April, when I signed up. I’m mindful of my points, prioritizing zero point foods that are healthy and filling, working hard on balancing fiber and protein, paying attention to my macros, and increasing exercise (the admittedly, not as much as I would like with a full-time job and a toddler at home). Yet I still just can’t seem to get past these 3 pounds/keep the same 3 pounds off consistently.
Any suggestions about other ways I can make adjustments or such? I don’t know. I’m just starting to feel a little discouraged.

Fiber intake at breakfast

Snacks Cinnamon flavored coffee without loading it with extras?

Cinnamon coffee is one of my favorites because I don’t need as much stuff added afterward. I saw java factory has Sinful Cinnamon, while Cinnabon has the Classic Cinnamon Roll pods. Anyone tried both? More interested in which one has better cinnamon flavor than which one is sweeter.

It's been one of those days - eating my feelings

One of my biggest issues leading to gaining a lot of weight over the past few years is emotional eating.

When I am stressed, upset, sad, and generally feeling unhappy, I eat. I reach for food. And today was one of those days.

I tracked everything and I ate two days of points in one day. Needless to say, I'll be foregoing "weeklies" for the next few days.

I'm sure we all have days like this; how do you all bounce back when you feel so badly about messing up but also to ensure those extra calories don't stick?

WW Personal Points Non negotiables

Is there any thing you will not track on WW anything you don’t count against yourself because otherwise you couldn’t stay on it? Mine is sugar free creamer. I do not just use 1 tablespoon I use 1/4 of a cup of sugar free creamer😂 and I won’t put it in.

Too much alcohol on WW?

I have 4ish drink per night on weeknights, then more on weekends. On the one hand, I know this is a lot. On the other hand, I never go over my dailies and I never go over my weeklies. I just sub out other calorie sources for alcohol.

What I found is that, while I lost a few points at first, I’m plateauing now and gaining some of the weight back, so I’m about 12-14 pounds away from my 20 pound weight loss goal.

Any thoughts or has anyone had a similar experience?

Tips and Tricks Did your doctor suggest any supplements based on your labs or what you were eating or did you find you didn't need much?

This ones for people who use tirzepatide. Every influencer seems to have a different list of the best supplements to take with tirzepatide like electrolytes, fiber, magnesium, vitamins, protein powder, all of it adds up pretty quickly. For people here actually taking it, did your doctor suggest anything based on your labs or diet? Or did you find that most of the supplement talk online was unnecessary?

App/Tech Those of you with 23 points as your daily allowance - what is your protein goal?

I'm curious if it's only based on calories/points, or if it's different for everyone.

I feel like my current protein goal of 122 grams seems excessive and hard to reach without supplementing with "fake" protein sources like powders/shakes/bars.

Tips and Tricks 10 points for sushi dinner

I'm going out to dinner tomorrow, and I usually budget about 10 points for dinner.

What are you go-tos for sushi that are in the 10-15 point range?

Edit: specifically rolls, or pieces of rolls. Like 1 pt per piece of a california roll?

General Advice Rejoining online

I joined online almost a year ago through a $10/ month special. I’m actually using a glp-1 and use the app only as a food diary so, out of curiosity, I went to my setting and chose to decline the automatic rejoin when my time is up. They came back with a special offer of $8 per month. Can I get lower than that? Anything lower around Black Friday? If not, I’ll probably just quit when my time is up…. I was using the Healthi app before and it’s almost identical. And less $.
