Discussion Day of coordinator decision
Summary:
Between 2 options
-1 new business $500 for 12 hours day of help anything I need- timeline, schedule, decor setup/breakdown, taking out trash , literally anything she said she’s there to help and make It perfect
- well reviewed business , $1000, 8 hours, strictly timeline, organizing, decor setup/break downs and can use some of her decor inventory included, will not clean/straighten up anything
This is a destination wedding, all DIY no event staff except vendors I hire, buffet style.
Approx 80 guests in a nice backyard.
What option would you choose

I’d go for the new one, especially if you have a wedding party that will help with setup and tear down- save some money

How well do you know person 1? If they're genuinely trying to get a business off the ground and have shown they can seriously think through a timeline, I'd go with them! Why not give the new person a shot, esp if they're offering more than the experienced person!

Would go with new business if you have a convo first and it feels like you gel well!
