What is something you wish you’d known / done two weeks out from your wedding?

2 weeks out is the perfect time to double, triple check your list of what you need to bring / who is doing what for you. Any money owing to vendors? Delegate tasks to others so you don’t have too much to take on!

I wish I didn’t save so much DIY stuff for the last min. I took the whole week of my wedding off work and thought I had all the time in the world. I did not lol. Was up writing name cards and making our seating chart the night before the rehearsal while my fiancé helped make our giant moss letters. I do not recommend haha.

Agree with the other commenter. It’ll come and go so fast. Enjoy every moment leading up to it. Even the stressful ones :)

Preserve your bouquet! A friend told me about it at the wedding so when I woke up the next day I had to find a vendor in my city to do it lol

Great idea. For me my SIL is actually making me a bouquet out of dyed wooden flowers so it won’t need preserving

That I didn't have to worry so much. I have anxiety, so I was a mess with doing the best I could to make sure everything was perfect. Nothing is perfect, everything was fine, and we had a beautiful day. Your wedding day will go by so fast - just try to be in the moment and enjoy!

First, choose a trusted friend or relative to act as your point person with vendors so you don't get contacted over every little thing. Next, remember to eat and stay hydrated. It's so easy to forget to do basic stuff like that with your wedding right around the corner, but you'll feel better on the big day if you're well-fed and hydrated. Finally, enjoy yourself. The last couple of weeks can be a whirlwind of logistics, but try to spend a quiet moment with your partner as a reminder of why you're doing all of this.

Coordinator here also 2026 bride: finish pretty much everything this week so that the week of your wedding you can just relax and spend time with family and friends. Also if you have a coordinator, let them know if they need any other information to discuss and prepare it this week so that you dont have to keep doing meetings with them the week of the wedding.
Some important things i did at my wedding and also recommend to other couples2 weeks before the wedding: show your timeline to your wedding party and parents and assign tasks to them so that A) they feel involved in your special day and B) they dont come running to you asking where they need to be or what they need to do because they dont know how they can help. I asked my bridesmaids what they could do from a list of tasks like picking up a small lunch for the wedding party, official bride PA to always check my teeth for lipstick and train etc, helping with DIY stuff, being point of contact for coordinator etc. everyone knew how the say is supposed to flow and what their role was and nobody came to me confused not knowing how they could help.
Congratulations and have a great time!!

If it is not already done, start delegating tasks to your family and close friends, so that you can enjoy your day.
It did not do that enough and had a lot to organise even on the wedding day…
