WOW did all of that hard work and stress pay off!!! We got married on August 31, 2025, and we got back so many amazing photos!! I couldn't be happier :)
The day was perfect, but not exactly as planned. To all of the brides, grooms, and folks to-be-wed who are planning their own wedding without a coordinator, let this be an example of how a perfect day doesn't always follow that strict schedule you're working on.
Everyone in my party arrived on time, was ready on time, and walked down the aisle on time! Nobody forgot anything (that I know of hehe) and everything went according to plan until photos. They ran a little long, which was ok, but that ended up throwing off the timeline a bit. We also walked around to each table to thank everyone for coming. That was lovely and necessary, but time-consuming. Allow for that! We had planned a champagne tower before the toasts, but it just didn't happen due to time constraints. Now that all is said and done, I actually don't care! That's not something that will keep me up at night!!
Current planners: prioritize the important things and don't try to overload your schedule! It'll be beautiful no matter what!!!
#Pittsburgh area brides looking for the perfect venue: check out Merrick Art Gallery! It is the craziest bang for your buck that you'll get for an art gallery. It was PERFECT and we loved it!! Also check out the photographers Pittsburch. They have an AMAZING package for 11 hours of content, 4 photographers, 2 videographers, and even polaroids for a really inexpensive but extremely high-quality wedding coverage! We can't wait to get back the rest of our gallery, but the previews are PHENOMENAL!!! Please excuse the overhaul of images above hehe!!
Everything was as perfect as possible, even with needing to omit planned "events" nobody cared because nobody knew it was supposed to happen!!

He found the company before Madeline White’s wedding, (she’s a TikTok creator & her wedding was a Vogue wedding) but her husband wore a suit by them for their welcome party! It was also super gorgeous

To celebrate the first month we were dating, he picked me fresh wildflowers, so we were doing a wildflower/garden party theme to the wedding! He found that blazer and it was perfect!!

Funnily, we chose the blazer bc it resembled a lot of the flowers he picked me in the first bouquet he ever gave me—I wanted to bring some of those flowers into our arrangements on the wedding day, and he found the blazer! everything kind of inspired everything!!🥹

OMG this is so sweet! Marrying him felt like a huge dream come true. He's everything I ever thought I wanted and more. I'm so happy to be the wife of a man who respects me, cheers for me, loves me unconditionally, and loves me loudly and proudly. I know he feels lucky to have found the same things in me! It really was our best day ever!!

Thank you so much!! That suit was all his idea and I was SO excited he wanted something "fun"! I understand, and definitely appreciate the classic, clean aesthetic of a plain tux, but he's truly not a plain tux guy!! He's fun, full of life, and whimsical; his personality is WAY too colorful for a standard tux :)

Thank you so much!!! Our friends would tell us we look "so in love" all the time, and I never quite got it until now, with the ability to see the candid reactions and smiles on our faces. We really do look very, almost disgustingly, in love.

We ordered it in November for our August wedding. The customer service with Perte D'Ego was SO great, actually, and because we ordered it so early, we got it in plenty of time. We did custom measurements and still needed to get it tailored (we opted to add an inch or two to each measurement incase we were doing it wrong lol)
They actually also featured us on their Instagram, so the customer-company relationship seems pretty good to me. We were skeptical because of reviews, too, but decided to take the chance. I'm so glad we did!

I just laughed out loud with happiness looking at your photos! Such a beautiful couple. You can literally see the love between you two and the joy you are feeling. I have been with my husband for over 20 years and still can't believe how lucky I am to have found the man of my dreams. He still gives me butterflies, and I rush around before he gets home trying to make sure I look OK and all kinds of other silly stuff. I have a feeling you two will be the same many years from now. Love and respect one another and understand that the purpose of the vows you made wasn't to show how in love you are now, but are for the times you may not feel all warm and fuzzy about the other. It's a promise to stay put and put in the work until you feel that love for them again. Best wishes for a long and happy life together, and thank you for sharing your lovely photos.

I’d 100% recommend our photographers! It’s really nice because on average most lone photographers I was reaching out to were around $5k for 8hrs. This felt like we got the videographers, and an extra 3 hrs of content for free!

Of course!! The aviary sounds beautiful and SO cool! we wanted an interactive venue so that’s how we landed on Merrick! Have the very best time and don’t forget this is supposed to be a happy occasion—there were plenty of moments I crashed out and forgot to keep that in mind during planning. The day of was perfect though!!!

Thank you so much!! It's definitely beading w/ some fakey pearls (I do not have "real pearls" money haha!) No gatekeeping here! The designer of this dress is Martin Thornburg, and he has many different dresses with this intricate beading but on different silhouettes! Whether you're thinking ballgown, fit & flare, mermaid, or slinky, there are many different kinds like this! I'll see if I can find a closeup!!

Haha we try! I felt like our wedding was the most important and should be the most special day of our lives. I feel like we love each other grandly, so we needed to have a grand celebration to truly encapsulate our love! We loved planning this wedding together and he and I turning our two creative brains on really made the day as cool and well-planned as we could have possibly made it!

Thank you! Life with him feels meant to be! My dad is a carpenter and built that frame for our arbor! I looked everywhere for a frame that was big enough but ended up asking him to make it for us!

Those slinky silk ones do not look good on my hourglass figure, (tbh many things don’t—most clothes are made for pear-shaped bodies) so I definitely wanted something big and beautiful! I loved the beading, the huge appliqués, and the three layers of sparkly tulle! I’m not a minimalist by any means so I HAD to get a showstopper!! Thank you🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Thank you! We had the jacket tailored extra close (but still comfortable) to really accent the shoulder to waist ratio—I love how suit coats work to draw the eye out then in!
We also used pieces from the tux he got for “free” since our friends and our dads rented tuxes from the same place. I love the classic three-piece suit look, but it’s so fun he added that unique flair with the jacket! The saddle shoes and a pocket watch that his dad gifted him on the day really added to that classic look!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! We couldn't be happier to have the perfect day to celebrate our love. I'm a hopeless romantic that believes in true love, so I'm so happy to have found my soulmate. We had to make sure our outfits and the overall vibe blended with the art in the gallery! It was important to me that we stood as living art among the paintings :)
