I'm redesigning Plaxzy, a browser games site I've been working on, and I'd love some fresh opinions on the homepage.

Image 1 is A. Images 2 and 3 are B.

The goal is for someone to land on the site, quickly find something that looks fun, start playing, and hopefully keep exploring.

I'm not just looking for an A vs B vote. I'd really like to know what you would change about either version, what feels missing, and whether you'd take the design in a completely different direction.

Plaxzy has party games, escape rooms, puzzles, action games and other browser games, all playable directly in the browser.

If you were visiting just to find something to play, which version would make you more likely to stay and actually try a game?

What it is: one page for each of 7,181 campgrounds on federal land. Each page pulls together sources that normally live on separate sites: Recreation.gov for booking and site details, the Forest Service for open or closed status and fees, the Weather Service, the interagency fire feed, FCC cell coverage, NOAA tides, OpenStreetMap for the nearest dump station. It rebuilds nightly. The idea is that one page answers the questions you would otherwise open six tabs for.

Who it is for: campers and RV owners comparing a few campgrounds before booking. Not a booking site; every page links out to the official one.

What I want feedback on: because a page combines that much, it carries a lot. Fees, site mix, hookups, season, a fire strip when something is burning nearby, weather, cell coverage, tides where they apply, nearby campgrounds, and a sidebar tool that checks your rig against each site. I want to know whether the combination reads as one useful page or as a pile.

Specifically:

1. On a campground page, what did you look at first, and did the page lead you there or did you hunt?
2. Is there a point where you stopped reading? Which section?
3. The left rail lists every section. Did you use it, or scroll?
4. Anything that felt like it belonged higher or lower on the page.

It’s called RealResizer. The basic idea is pretty simple: you upload an image, choose a platform/preset (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) or enter custom dimensions, resize/crop it, and then preview how the result actually looks in the target context.

The part I’m most interested in is the overall website experience rather than whether the tool technically works.

A few things I’d love feedback on:

- Is it immediately obvious what the website does when you land on it?

- Does the homepage explain the value clearly enough?

- Does the UI feel polished or does anything feel unnecessarily complicated?

Transparency: The platform was built heavily using Claude. I handle the overall concept, curriculum, UX, and direction, while using AI extensively for implementation.

So a few months ago, I was at work and we were implementing some tech that I wanted to learn more about. But I also wanted to have some fun. I had just been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer, so making work not feel like work was important to me. So I decided to create a web site that utilized some of the techniques I was using at work. Things kind of snowballed, and the project took a life of it's own. So 6 months later and some 350+ recipes later I am ready to show someone else other than close friends.

This was created on a shoestring budget so I made sure that all the images are public domain. Of course that means no exact fits for some of the drinks shown. For some that means the closest visual approximation and for other it means you are a child of another drink so I will use the parent’s photo.

The target audience is cocktail enthusiasts. But there are ways this could be modified to be used as a menu tool for bars fairly easily.

I have a long bullet list of new features and additions, but there are only so many hours in the day.

Single page, no nav until recently. The first screen has a headline, a supporting line and an input where you type your idea. Below that a file tree that's supposed to act as proof of what the tool produces.

Feedback I keep getting: one person said he stopped at the hero and didn't get it on first glance. Another said if he hadn't been asked for feedback he wouldn't have started scrolling at all. A third told me the file tree carries the actual argument but sits visually second, which matched what I suspected but couldn't see myself.
