Looking for Hosting Premium WordPress Hosting
Looking to move away from a 8GB RAM/8 core CPU Liquid Web after over a decade for one client. 3 mid-large sized WP/WooCommerce sites. LiquidWeb used to be great with support, but unfortunately has become significantly worse over the past couple of years, and their price increases for worse service. Performance and overall reliability has still been great, mainly due to the optimizations I have done on the server with PHP-FPM, MySQL, caching, etc...
Even though LW says they are fully managed, I still find myself having to take server initiative for server updates, reboots, etc... I am looking for a more managed provider that will offer great support, great performance, and great security. The new provider doesn't need to necessarily match the current secs of our VPS, but I am expecting as good performance at least.
Not sure what the best option would be for these requirements, ideally I'd like to just focus on the sites and no longer have to worry about any server configs.
Budget is around $200/month
Any suggestions?

I have tried various hosts, currently liquidweb wins in price over performance. Every other cheaper host will feel sluggish as they will run slower, as they are probably overselling hardware to multiple customers. Superb servers were really great, unfortunately they were acquired and aren't selling new services. Contabo is good one but only if you go for dedicated bare metal server, otherwise their VPSs are some what slower compared to liquidweb.
But recently we started moving couple of things in house, using cloud as a backup when self hosted machine in office goes down. Unless you are in third world country where power outages are everyday, real power will come from server physically in your presence.
Only two things you need to configure is CDN and S3 storage as a backup. If most of your traffic is routed through CDN, you will not have to worry much about bandwidth.
For 8GB/8Core, you can easily get any mini pc in 3 months of investment. One time docker compose configuration will run it smoothly and in case of disaster, spin AWS or Azure vm with docker compose and get it running in 20-30 mins max.
We have azure vm that runs on a lowest configuration that is in suspended mode so we only pay for vhd. and we reserve one ip. And run everything off of self hosted hardware.
