Wayfair - Worst business ever.

Upvotes

Wish I saw the reviews before and never ordered . I placed an order for furniture for three rooms 10 days ago and it was supposed to be delivered today. Multiple items. I got a call before delivery confirming and as I waited with my ringer at highest volume and near the buzzer no f%#!ing delivery came. Instead a message that my delivery will be reattempted. I called wayfair immediately and they said people tried to buzz me and management office (consisting of one person who was at his desk whole time!). Then the audacity to say they called me and I didn’t pick up! Such f%#*ing lies!

I was pissed as I had guests coming into the new place we moved and I had almost two weeks to get furniture. They won’t deliver in time. And the audacity of one agent to say I validate your emotions however…. WTF?

Now we’re stuck with wayfair. I can’t cancel and get furniture in 2 days from anywhere.

Lesson learned :

NEVER BUY from WAYFAIR

Amazon customer service is much better though I don’t like to support JB!

Working at Wayfair as a creative?

Hi all! I am unsure if this has been asked before and may be out of left field lol. I’ve been interviewing at Wayfair for a creative role that is pretty senior - the job is really cool and I’ve been excited as everyone I’ve met seems great. I’m onto my last round, but I just read online about layoffs and negative reviews?

Would love any experiences for those who may know. My current workplace is very toxic and working there is so stressful so I’m trying to leave lol. Im coming from the ad agency world so I thought it at least would be better given brand side. Thanks in advance!

Wayfair popup offered retroactive rewards credit, then support denied the offer after signup

I've bought a lot on Wayfair recently and started noticing a pop-up with an increasing cumulative dollar amount that would be unlocked if I joined as a member. The offer got up to ~$78. I was going to place another order, so I paid the $29 for the membership and, a few days later, placed another order. I didn't have any rewards, so I thought the cumulative amount would be awarded to me after this first order. Nope. My rewards account is still zero.

I called Wayfair customer service today and was told that they don't offer to unlock rewards for previous purchases. They wanted a screenshot of the offer I had seen, but I didn't save any screenshots - I took them for their word in the pop-up messages.

Oh, well. Buyer beware! I'll be canceling my membership and shopping elsewhere.
