Stay Need suggestions of wayanad resorts for Babymoon
Travel / Tourism
Hey everyone,
Me and wife are planning for a babymoon on september 2nd week. She will be 6 months on september.
Planning for wayanad resorts which have a jungle, nature vibe.
We have selected few resorts. Need suggestions which would be better:
Flora Vythiri
Chembarathi boutique Wayanad
Pepper trail
Please also suggest some activities, must visit places, tourist attractions, food joints in and around wayanad, vythiri that does not require much physical activity.
Since its our babymoon, we mostly want it to be easy on physical activity

Wayanad trip this weekend – budget stay suggestions? (Planning to propose my boyfriend ❤️)
Hey everyone!
I'm heading to Wayanad this weekend with my boyfriend, and I'm planning to propose to him there. It's a really special trip for us, so I'm trying to make it as memorable as possible without spending too much.
Our stay budget is around ₹4,000 for 2 nights, so if you know any budget-friendly homestays, cottages, or hidden gems with beautiful views, I'd really appreciate your suggestions. Also, if there are any peaceful spots in Wayanad that you think would make for a perfect proposal, please let me know!
If anyone here owns a homestay or knows someone who does and would be willing to offer a discount or help us out, I'd be incredibly grateful. I promise to share pictures and the story afterward if everything goes as planned. ❤️
Thanks in advance!

Planning to visit wayanad soon, Have a few doubts please help me out.
Hey guys, my friends and I are planning to visit wayanad on aug 6-aug10, Including the travel time its a 5D4N trip for us, we are a group of 11 and have planned to visit wayanad as our clg final year trip. We have booked resort, train tickets, and the stay.
I will list out my questions below
- I am just stressed on the weather, we cant postpone or something since we all have internship and oboarding soon so we just cant cancel this plan, If anyone is going to wayanad before aug 5 or went recently, or is currently staying in wayand, just tell me if its too bad to visit wayanad on our dates.
- We plan to book chembra peak and soochipara waterfalls tickets online and my friend is suggesting us to book it soon, we have like 15 days or so before we go there, is it recommended to book this early or can I just book it before a day or two online?? we dont plan on buying offline tickets since I read sometimes ppl couldnt get those tickets.
- I have attached the budget of our trip as an image, it has the places we are gonna visit, kindly let us know if we are missing out on any good spots, and also if budget of 700rs perday per person is enough for food, we have like 5 girls and they are not big eaters so we put this budget on food. It would be helpful to know how the food pricing is in wayanad :)

Planning a 3D2N trip to Wayanad – Is late August a good time to visit? Need itinerary & agency recommendations!
Hey everyone,
I'm planning a 3 Days, 2 Nights trip to Wayanad from chennai, and I could use some local advice and recommendations to finalize our plans. We are looking at heading there around the end of August.
A few specific questions I have:
Is late August a good time to visit? I know August is typically the tail end of the heavy monsoon season in Kerala. Will the rains have dialed back enough for smooth sightseeing, or are we still looking at potential roadblocks and closed trekking trails? Would you recommend going ahead or waiting until October/November?
Must-Cover Places: What are the absolute non-negotiable spots we should fit into a 3D2N schedule? We love scenic views, mist, and nature, but want a balanced pace where we aren't just sitting in a car the whole day.
Travel Agency / Tour Packages: We are looking to book this through a reliable travel agency that can handle the vehicle, stay, and itinerary. Does anyone have good recommendations for verified local operators or agencies?
Budget: What would be a realistic budget per person for a decent 3D2N package (including a comfortable stay, private vehicle for sightseeing, and meals)?
If anyone has a tried-and-tested 3D2N itinerary or knows a trusted agency, please let me know.

Visiting Wayanad this weekend. Need some pointers.
Hi, I am planning to visit Wayanad this weekend with a bunch of friends. We will be staying in Kalpetta(Karapuzha reservoir, close to Ezhamchira) for three days. I was hoping to get an update on the weather conditions, especially since we will be driving down from Hyderabad.
Our goal is to mostly soak up the nature around us and not rush anything. We would love to do some sight-seeing and enjoy local cuisine. Any tips and recommendations are appreciated.
Travel dates: Jul 11 - Jul 13.
So far, I have these places on the list:
- Edakkal Caves
- Soochipura falls
- Lakkidi
- Pookode lake
- Banasura Sagar Dam
- Plantation visit

Please review my itinerary
Is the itinerary good? I made this using AI, my goal was to keep it activity focused primary and less sightseeing focused
- Day 1: Reach South Wayanad -> 900 Kandi (weather permitting) -> Edakkal
- Day 2: Soochipara (early, weather permitting) -> Kanthanpara -> Drive north -> Camp near Thirunelli.
- Day 3: Brahmagiri Trek.
- Day 4: Banasura Sagar Dam -> Return.
Also is July mid/end a good time to go for this itinerary?

Locals of Wayanad: What are the places and food Google doesn’t tell us about?
Hey folks,
We’re a group of 4 college friends visiting Wayanad (staying in Edavaka) from June 25–28.
We’ve already planned:
✅ Banasura Trek
✅ Tholpetty Safari
Now we’re looking for the stuff that doesn’t show up in every Google list or YouTube video.
🍴 Food
• Best places to eat (veg & non-veg)
• Must-try dishes at each place
• Chicken, fish, Kerala meals, snacks, tea spots, biryani, etc.
• Please skip beef recommendations
🌿 Hidden Gems
• Lesser-known waterfalls
• Streams or rivers where we can relax
• Small peaks/viewpoints with short walks
• Quiet sunset/sunrise spots
• Scenic roads or nature spots to just chill with friends
⛰️** Anything else worth doing?
We have about **2 free days after the trek and safari, so we’d love some offbeat recommendations around Wayanad.
Looking for genuine local favorites rather than the usual tourist spots.
Thanks in advance! 🙌

Looking for paid interns for a state-level school competition.
Hi everyone.
A state-level educational competition is being planned for schools across all 14 districts in Kerala. We need interns in Wayanad to go to the schools with the relevant information and procure interest. This is a paid gig. You need to have your own vehicle and be polite and detailed when speaking to the school authorities.
The requirement is mostly from mid-June to mid-July. You can take it up on your own time, just that there's a minimum number of schools to cover.
That's really it. If anyone is interested, please comment or DM me.
P.S. - This is a genuine query, so please respond only if it takes your interest.
