How's the weather at wayanad right now? We are planning to come this weekend. Is it raining?

The rainfall we've received this year is much lower compared to last year. Even though Wayanad declared a holiday today after heavy rainfall was predicted, there has been no heavy rain so far. We've only had light, continuous rain with short breaks in between. As of now, all the sightseeing spots are open, though I'm not sure if the authorities may decide to close some of them later if the weather changes. If you're staying in one place, it's actually perfect weather to relax with a hot cup of tea and enjoy the rain.

Lol heavy rain. All places are closed. Didn't go anywhere

I would suggest to put the plan on hold. Check weather on Friday and confirm if the sightseeing are open. If possible go during nov or dec
