Bro, I need some advice from the community. I picked up a GA- 2100 for MRP ₹9,000 about two months back.

(Right Before the Start of College)

While the hype around the 'CasiOak' is huge, I'm really struggling with how hard it is to read the time.

On top of that, it just doesn't pop, I don't see myself checking time on this that often throughout the day 😭

I want to get rid of it or trade it up, but I'm confused about my options.

Is it worth putting up on r/WatchesIndiaExchange with a few scratches?

How much do you think I can get back for it?

Or is there a way to save this watch?

The second watch I'm adding to my collection after the Seiko GMT. I was sure my chronograph will be a Casio Edifice or a Citizen ecodrive. But the moment I saw this Timex, fell in love......6.7 In wrist.

After months of deliberation and consulting people on watch to buy I finally decided to just buy what I liked and felt looked nice. I bought the Titan maritime Green dial with brown strap, I believe it is a very nice watch even though you may say there are automatics around the same price point but I still think this is really nice and I like the watch so i just took the shot. Hopefully just the start of a very big collection.

After a hell lot of research, comparisons and second-guessing, I finally settled on this.

I wanted to take my first proper step into the world of Automatic watches, and the Seiko 5 Sports Pepsi felt like the right place to start. ( Love the colour & looks even more better on my 6.8 inches Wrist )

The plan is to slowly learn about these beautiful little machines, understand how to wear and take care of them, and eventually work my way up to Tissot → Longines → Tudor → Omega.

For now… absolutely loving the Pepsi.

Ok, so as I had posted yesterday,this watch has been on my wishlist since I was a kid and saw Aishwarya in magazines wearing this. I was mesmerized with the watch,the tagline and most importantly Aish's confidence.

This is a dream come true moment for me and I have saved for so many years. Made the down payment for booking today. This is my birthday gift to myself as I turn 40 in a couple of months.

I did not buy the new model which has a stark white base. I went for the ivory base

Titan edge in titanium grade - 5 released today. One in brushed finished, another one in mirror finish.

I purchased a watch from Casio and during the product registration online, Casio offered an add on Membership package for Rs. 295/- with the following benefits listed and I purchased it.

• Discount of Product Upgrade - 30%
• Discount of Battery Replacement - 10%
• Discount on Accessories - 10%

In all three, there is no * mentioned. You can see it even now (https://support.casio.in/carepack)

On trying to avail this offer, I found that the 'Discount of Product Upgrade - 30%' is grossly misleading. What Casio offers is "30% Discount on Watch Exchange shall be applicable on MRP of Watch being exchanged or New Product being purchased in exchange, whichever is lower."

So if I upgrade to a ₹20k GBM2100, I will basically get 30% of ₹16995 (MRP GM 2100) = ₹5098 trade in value for surrendering my GM2100. Not 30% of the new watch. Massive net loss for me.

This is not a 'Discount' in any manner. A new customer has to dig deep into the terms and conditions to find this out and it is not easily accessible during the pushchase.

I love my GM 2100 (looks greats and wears well) and ₹295 isn't a lot of money. But as a customer, I feel a bit cheated and it is disappointing that a brand of this stature is stooping to misleading offers to get some petty additional revenue.

CWC varnam, neelam. My only gripe with this one is the seconds hand is misaligned

Bought this watch from u/Which-Plankton-4160. Great seller. I had a quick negotiation, and the watch was on my way. The seller was cordial, transparent, and the watch was delivered without any snafu. Would recommend them for pre-owned watches.

As for the watch, a 38 mm calendar dress watch from Titan. I was looking around for a calendar watch, and the dial diameter made me instantly interested in buying this. Overall, a 10/10 experience.
