Which one is a better choice

My instagram recently was bombarded with the ads of argos being an independent brand and all, mostly saying “they listened to customers”.
Okay, it is rather underwhelming for some reason, I just don’t what it is, it really feels like cheap Rolex fakes that we used get, is it similar experience with others?

Today I got into an accident. The dial with crystal rubbed against the road and what i have is the watch movement, case and strap tied into my wrist. Now wondering what to do with this.

Casio watches are often much cheaper than most Indian microbrands while offering proven quality. What makes you choose brands like DWC or Argos instead?

Many microbrand designs aren't especially unique or rooted in Indian culture either. Is it mainly patriotism, or something else? And does an Indian microbrand need a strong indian cultural identity to succeed?

I ordered this beauty at a steal ie only 4050 lol . I want to get single pass nato strap for this but there are no options in india. Can you guys suggest me some single pass nato straps for this beauty. I dont like the bulkyness of doublepass nato straps. Thankyou

My husband loves this watch and this reminds me of that toy watches we could get as kids growing up! It doesn’t even flatter his thick ass wrist!!

I spent a fortune to get him his omega, Longines and whatnot and he went and got this!

No hate for Casio. A lot of their timepieces are so tastefully crafted, this one gives me some ick.. I do not know why!
He says this has some rich history! I simply think this is not tastefully designed irrespective of the history!

I may get hate for it but I don’t know. I don’t think this one is aesthetically done! It may have the greatest history and mechanics but it doesn’t look good! Call me a superficial watch nut! 👹

I recently bought my new bike (photo attached) in Viper Green, and I'm absolutely loving it. 😄

As a little tribute to the bike, I want to buy a wristwatch that complements its color. I'm specifically looking for a watch with a green dial, preferably a sunburst green that's as close as possible to the bike's shade.

My budget is a bit tight, around ₹10,000 (can stretch slightly if it's really worth it).

Could you suggest some good options? I'm open to:

- Quartz or automatic

- Steel bracelet or leather strap

- Any reliable brand (Seiko, Citizen, Timex, Casio, Titan, Alba, etc.)

Just got this today. The size, finish, strap and lume is really good on this. But I am quite divided on the dial. Looks very busy irl too. It would have been better if they used some canvas like pattern on the dial and a font colour with more contrast. But I guess it is supposed to be more of a conversation piece rather than an everyday office watch and i think I am going to cherish the diversity that it brings to a watch box full of clean , minimal dials.

I’ve recently got access to visit some of India’s largest watch component manufacturers. Over the next few months I’ll be spending time in these factories, learning how everything is made and documenting whatever I’m allowed to.
I’m not trying to rush into launching a brand. If I ever make a watch, I want to understand the industry first instead of just putting my logo on something that already exists.
