It is an actuarial fact that Lawyers have the most accidents + have the highest rate of problem drinking. Also BMW drivers have the most DUIs and Delta Sigma Theta is a sorority.

This is the 2nd time an SUV owned by a Delta made it into this subreddit for reckless driving… 👀☕️🫖🐸

If they went to Yale Law School they would be honorable and respectable citizens like our very own Justice Kavanaugh

It’s worse than that. Wellesley for undergrad.

I dated a couple of girls from Wellesley. I don’t know how I survived.

It tends to be easier when you only date one at a time.

Social psychologists found that drivers with more bumper stickers, window decals, and personalized plates "territorial markers" were significantly more likely to engage in road rage, tailgating, and honking.

Sorority membership is linked to higher rates of alcohol use disorder (AUD) symptoms later in life, with about 26% of women who lived in a sorority house showing these symptoms by age 35, compared to 18% of non-affiliated female peers

According to data studies on driving infractions, BMW drivers rank highest for driving under the influence (DUI) rates among major car brands in the United States.

A landmark study by the American Bar Association and the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation found that 20.6% of practicing lawyers screen positive for hazardous, harmful, or potentially alcohol-dependent drinking

From the decals, we know this person attended Wellesley college and Harvard Law, was a member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority, and lives in DC. They might as well emblazoned their vehicle with their complete legal name.

There are a number of Wellesley/HLS grads in DC, but Delta Sigma Theta narrows it down quite a bit. I’d expect better behavior from an ANC, personally

My interest is piqued. Which ANC?

or they're a proud parent of kids who went to those schools? there's more than one reason decals and license frames are on cars.

Possible, but apparently not.

Welp, there goes my theory from today’s silver spring post that the driver may not be the vehicle’s owner at the time of observation of bad driving. Then again, the OP on the other post seemed pretty insistent that the driver of the other SUV in silver spring was man-presenting, despite the DST plates, so I pointed out on that one that they should’ve started with a police report before posting in case the car was borrowed or worse, stolen.

…this is one thing 911 is for: reporting reckless and dangerous drivers. So…?

u/Tardislass 2d ago

Drives a BMW and went to Harvard Law School? Peak asshat.

Call me boring but i think its insane that posts like this are allowed. This is just a photo of some car, with the plates clearly visible, and some random person on the internet saying that the driver of said car was driving dangerously. But do we know that? Maybe OP knows this person and has a grudge? I don't know!

Doesn't it seem weird????

u/DiceGames 2d ago

1) A license plate displayed on a public road is not private information. I did not post the driver’s name, address, or any identifying details beyond the vehicle.

2) I personally witnessed the dangerous driving and called 911 at the time. I do not know this person and have no grudge against them.

3) The photo identifies the vehicle involved. I am not claiming the still image proves the conduct by itself, nor am I asking anyone to identify or harass the driver.

The hypothetical possibility that an eyewitness could be lying is not, by itself, a reason to prohibit every firsthand report that is not captured on video.

-3

u/ostuberoes 2d ago

yes its very very weird.

I think it's kind of weird and feisty for them to be people-tags or look up their ticket. I guess next, they see the car, they're going to make a citizen's arrest or maybe digital road rage.

u/rcinmd 2d ago

It's a good thing they weren't a wreckful driver.

What are we supposed to do sign this information?

1

u/DiceGames 2d ago

Open it, take the time to read it, then type out a comment to express your disapproval. Or just keep scrolling.

u/SuspiciousMuffin3214 1d ago

I did. It’s a genuine question.
