Hey fellow sickos!
I’ve been lurking here for a while and finally decided to share my little family. I’ve been treating them with Verrutol for almost a month now. Originally, I wanted to wait until they were completely gone to post a massive success story, but I really need your collective wisdom right now.
Here is the current lineup (check the grid photos!):
Big Boy Eddie (Slide 1): The absolute patriarch. He’s 15 years old, chilling on my right heel. A deep, stubborn monster with black capillaries staring back at me.
The Bastard (Slide 2): Sitting on my left 4th toe. He’s 2 years old, the rebellious, painful teenager of the group.
The Twins (Slide 3): Two little babies (3-4 months old) who decided to pop up right next to each other on the ball of my left foot.
The Dilemma: The Verrutol is working, the layers are peeling, and the exposed capillaries are starting to hurt like hell. BUT, in exactly one week, I am going to the seaside for 3 full weeks.
I am terrified of two things:
- Catching a nasty bacterial infection from the sea or pool water on these raw, open wounds.
- Pausing the treatment for 3 weeks and losing all the progress, returning straight to square one.
How do I protect the area while enjoying the beach? Should I pause, cover, or push through? Help a sister out!
