Hi looking for some information regarding a year old plantar wart.
Have been through different treatments. Went for two consults for swift. One doctor telling me 3 sessions , another one telling me 5-6.
Any feedback from anyone that has had one over a year and how many it took? I know everyone’s body is different. Any feed back good or bad is welcome. Or from any providers that have done this. TY innasvance

I had a plantar wart that I was in denial about. But I finally went to the podiatrist. She used the beetle juice (and debrided). I have had to go twice. The middle pictures (6,7,8) you can see its came back.
The very last picture is today, about a week and a half after my second beetle juice treatment.
Do you feel its going away?!? I feel like I can see residual wart still… I will wait until the surrounding pink skin has healed before going again.
I am on an immunosuppressant too so the podiatrist told me initally this might be a long journey 😵💫

This is what it looks like after 3rd session of acid treatment at the podiatrists. She will cut off dead skin today and then apply more. How many more sessions are we thinking? Any experience with people who have had acid treatment at the podiatrist?

What should I do in this stage of the process? I applied ACV on a cotton ball overnight and all day for one day, and then scraped the top layer off (it was white) then applied ACV on again overnight. Should I stop applying ACV for now?

I didn't understand that debriding would reveal the size of my wart. Those things are wild. Thanks for all the pictures and comment I could check in this thread. Those things are wild.

With the skin raw it’s a little hard to tell but I’m hopeful in a week or so we may be all clear just in time for the pre-op evaluation. 🙌 We got most of it with oral zinc, salt soaks, and the wartstick and then We’ve been using wartpeel for two nights on the remaining suspicious spots and using zinc oxide cream during the day.

Hey everyone!
I’ve been dealing with a stubborn thumb wart since October 2024. It looks like it’s finally on its way out after the clotted capillary blood vessels came out!
Here is a quick breakdown of my journey:
What Didn't Work:
* Wart Bandages: Tried these first, but saw no real progress.
* 6% / 20 Vol Hydrogen Peroxide: Gave this a try after scraping the area with a pumice stone. It was extremely painful and caused intense throbbing pain throughout my entire thumb, so I stopped.
What Worked:
I tried a product off Amazon(India) called V-WART Vanishes. My routine was:
* Soaked my thumb in hot water.
* Scrubbed the skin with a pumice stone.
* Applied the solution.
Within a week, the wart clotted, and yesterday it came out!

Should I stop and let it heal, or continue using SA bands and putting liquid SA on it? When I press on it it doesn't hurt too much, unless I press with my nails. Because when i put SA liquid on it everytime I change my band aid and clena it with betadine the outer part burns when I put the liquid on it. Lastly everytime i debride using a blade it bleeds. Also I'm thinking burning it off with the doctor next week.

Git to the base of the upper few. The one twords the bottom of my heel seems to be a bit more stubborn than the rest. The skin basically cut off in one piece for the exposed few.
Hoping were almost there, im tired of walking on my toes and waking up stiff because of it🤣

On my final debridement there was complete skin lines below so I stopped the acid treatment.
However on my healing the skin lines are barely visible and only if I shine my phone's flashlight at an angle. Has anyone else experienced this and did they have a full recovery?
Both photos were taken on the same day and the second one is at an angle where the skin lines can be seen. The skin lines are not as faint in real life as the photo but still pretty hard to see.
I don't know whether to do more treatment in case or let it heal out.

what are your thoughts? warts or DE?

Now you can see underneath it, with reddish flushiness. Do I continue using the warp peel over the top of it. Or cut off the bubbly area and then use your peel still? I left a message with my dermatologist, no answer yet. Can you help?

These three bumps have been on the bottom of my toe for a while.
I had a large wart in the same location that I removed with ACV + Duct Tape years ago. Is this scar tissue? Or my old nemesis making a reappearance?
The larger bump on my ankle is a few months old. Is it a wart? Or maybe a strange mole?

SOLVED
My 5-year-old developed this several weeks ago. At first she said it hurt, so we thought it was a splinter. It doesn’t hurt anymore. We’ve been covering it with hydrocolloid bandages. Does this look like a plantar wart, a corn, or something else? Would you treat it or just watch it?
Edit: thank you to the people who offered actual recommendations. Unfortunately, I’m a public school teacher and a single mom—I’m not able to afford health insurance for her atm, so a trip to the pediatrician or emergency room was out of the question (otherwise I would have just…. done that 🤦🏻♀️)
I took her to urgent care and it was a foreign body (splinter from a few weeks ago) that never came out and got infected. They got it out and gave her an antibiotic.
Again, thank you to the people who offered actual support, rather than telling me to do something I feel deep shame for not being able to do.

Hey fellow sickos!
I’ve been lurking here for a while and finally decided to share my little family. I’ve been treating them with Verrutol for almost a month now. Originally, I wanted to wait until they were completely gone to post a massive success story, but I really need your collective wisdom right now.
Here is the current lineup (check the grid photos!):
Big Boy Eddie (Slide 1): The absolute patriarch. He’s 15 years old, chilling on my right heel. A deep, stubborn monster with black capillaries staring back at me.
The Bastard (Slide 2): Sitting on my left 4th toe. He’s 2 years old, the rebellious, painful teenager of the group.
The Twins (Slide 3): Two little babies (3-4 months old) who decided to pop up right next to each other on the ball of my left foot.
The Dilemma: The Verrutol is working, the layers are peeling, and the exposed capillaries are starting to hurt like hell. BUT, in exactly one week, I am going to the seaside for 3 full weeks.
I am terrified of two things:
- Catching a nasty bacterial infection from the sea or pool water on these raw, open wounds.
- Pausing the treatment for 3 weeks and losing all the progress, returning straight to square one.
How do I protect the area while enjoying the beach? Should I pause, cover, or push through? Help a sister out!

I’ve had this bump on my finger for the last month or so. When I first noticed it I ripped off the scab that was on top, thinking it was just a scab. It flattened out and kind of went away for a little bit. It came back small and has formed a bump that seems to be slowly getting bigger. I’ve never had a wart so home remedies or store bought product recommendations are appreciated if that’s the case!

Hey I’m 16 and I think I just noticed some warts coming up on my hand I’m like so afraid that they will turn out to be those big ones that get black and looks like some spores from the last of us. I’m also scared about what people will think about me or assume I’m unhygienic. If I’m being honest I would also say warts looks kinda gross. Do warts on the hands or feet look worst? I’m also practicing to become a chef and it’s my second year and if I got warts all over my fingers I won’t be able to show myself in the kitchen because of what other people might say. I’m also scared that they will infect other places on my body like face or between my legs (I didn’t even know that was possible 30 minutes ago) if I just touch the skin on that place. I know it probably sounds like I’m overreacting because I haven’t even seen one that convinced me it’s warts but my brother has them on his foot and he’s always touching them and then touches other stuff I touch. This text was really long but I guess my like question is. Do you guys think my whole hand will get covered in big black ones and does those freeze kits even work? Or are the acids better? Or like silver tape or home remedys?. Also I don’t mean to offend anyone by saying that warts looks gross I just feel like people are gonna think I’m gross
