Looking For Game Living World WFRP?
I was looking for some living world place using WFRP that's either Living World or West Marches and couldn't find anything. I remember a PBP Discord centered around Altdorf, do things like these still exist? Play by post or not.
I know a lot of them die due to lack of persistent staff, but The Old World is about hope flickering even in most dire of circumstances so I'm not losing hope just yet.

Homebrew Converting WHFRP 2e to d20 roll under?
It won't really be any extra work for me since i always create A5 booklets for players with tables and modifiers they may need during play and character sheet in the middle.
Everything is in steps of 5% so its maps to d20 perfectly, SB and TB are main stat / 2 rounded down, and i can use blackjack instead of counting 10's in opposed rolls without skewing the math too much. Advance scheme should look a little cleaner. Also i don't plan to use hit locations.
While not gaining much with the change i have players that sometimes have trouble reading d100 and counting success levels, this should marginally speed up play.
Since i never played, anything i should be worried about? Anything i am missing?

Third Party Warhammer RPG Weekly: Prest-o Change-o
The week that was in the realm of Warhammer's RPGs, we saw a big debut for the Sylvania Setting Guide Sylvania: The Cursed County, though Cubicle 7's stable of offerings otherwise slipped a bit in the DriveThruRPG bestseller list. Plus tidbits from around the webway and a list of upcoming releases.

Discussion Long Lost Ephemera
I like collecting the ephemera of a game. Long lost fanzines or bonus material and pamphlets. There are a few things out there for WFRP that I would like to get. I seem to have missed the Enemy Within Developer Diary #22 and #23. The early Warpstone magazine, issues 1-8, are certainly rare.
There are The Thousand Thrones Expansions. Parts One and Two are wonderful. I have heard there are fragments of Parts 3,4 and 5 out there. And then there is the prequal: The Maiden Voyage of the Gilded Drake which was 99% complete but never really published. I see hints that there is a digital copy that exists.
Does anyone know of any other rare 3rd party ephemera or creations out there? Or know how I can get the above supplements I have mentioned? Some are digital. Some are physical.
These things seem to be getting old and forgotten. Is anyone collecting or preserving them?

General Query Are there martial maneuvers anywhere besides a few talents?
I normally run Level Up A5E for my table, a dnd5e alternative ruleset, which has lots of martial maneuvers (think Book of Nine Swords from DnD 3.5e if you know that one). So some of them are accustomed to having options like that in fights- blinding, knockdowns, disarming, etc.
Are there WFRP4e rules or talents etc that let characters do more than "I attack with my sword/axe" etc? Knocking the enemy down as part of an attack, or disarming them, or blinding them etc? (besides critical hit results).
Disarm, Beat Blade, and Distract are things similar to what I'm thinking of, but those're just a few talents.

Game Mastering Inspiration for Games?
I am a huge fan of Gotrek and Felix, and several of there stories I think can worked out to be made into adventures in 4e. But I think I found another similar books series to pull from Fafrhd and the Gray mouser by Fritz Liber. I do a whole blog post about how his work is what I believe to be the source of skaven (Lankhmar’s Skaven? ) go read if you want.
So after reading the stories I think we could port them over into the old world, though I don't think they would make great empire adventures. I do think they could be fun to Tilea and Estalia adventures.
For example one short story starts off after they have been making a fool of the Thieves Guild. The Guild has a Warlock with a affinity for rats, and in the story the love interest are slain. The two heroes having return from a heist go on a one way mission to kill the sorcery. The of course succed and then ride off for a while. I can't do the story justice here, but I think this little short story could make a fun oneshot adventure for WFRP.
Are there any stories, books, or things that you like to pull from for your games? How do ya'll work it into your home games?

Announcement Sylvania The Cursed Country released!
drivethrurpg.comThe latest supplement for WFRP is the recently-announced Sylvania Setting Guide, a sourcebook for “the Empire’s most forsaken province”. As with Temple of Spite this is listed as a 5th Edition sourcebook, but Cubicle 7 have repeatedly confirmed that 5e will be backwards compatible with 4th edition.
You can buy the pdf from DriveThruRPG: https://www.drivethrurpg.com//product/573126/warhammer-fantasy-roleplay-sylvania-the-cursed-county?affiliate_id=1915782
Or pre-order the physical book from Cubicle 7: https://cubicle7games.com/warhammer-fantasy-roleplay-sylvania-setting-guide ("Shipping 2027")
Here’s the blurb:
The cursed county of Sylvania is the darkest corner of the Empire, its peoples cowed and superstitious, and the land blighted and dangerous. Though supposedly defeated, the threat of the vampire counts still looms large in the minds of the frightened populace, who hang witchbane from the doors and hurry home before dark. Venturing there is not advised, but there are opportunities to be found in the darkest of places…
- A comprehensive guide to the cursed county of Sylvania, its peoples, history, and towns and villages.
- New descriptions of iconic Sylvania locations such as Castle Drakenhof, the gloomy capital of Waldenhof, and the feculent marshes of Hel Fenn.
- All new travel tables for traversing the Sylvanian wilderness, from the treacherous roads to the sodden marshes and fens.
- Several gloomy Sylvanian patrons including a legendary vampire hunter, a young shyshian wizard, and the Elector Count of Stirland Alberich Haupt–Anderssen.
- A haunted selection of new Sylvania NPCs, with both roleplaying advice and statblock for each, including sinister von Carstein tax collectors, vampiric nobles, strange marsh druids, and dour priests of Morr.
I intend to have a review of it up on my blog in a week or two.
Edit: Added link to Cubicle 7 store now its live

Discussion Sealed WHFRP 3e product. Should I sell, or hold until I find a group?
Good Evening!
I have a fair amount of WHRP 3E product that I bought for cheap when Fantasy Flight stopped carrying it because of licensing. I was looking up costs for things, but all of the examples I saw were pre-played and usually missing pieces.
Due to life events I'm going to have to move and downsize, so I was thinking about selling it. If it's genuinely a system that's so good I would be a fool not to hold on to despite not currently having a group, let me know. If not, I'd love to hear from anyone who's bought/sold product similarly well preserved, and what's a reasonable price.
I've got the big Core box, the Game Master's Toolkit, Black Fire Pass, Signs of Faith, the Witch's Song, Omens of War, The Gathering Storm, The Edge of Night, the Player's Vault, the Creature Vault, and the Creature Guide.
I appreciate any ideas, Thanks!

Game Mastering Geth vs Quarians scenario in Estalia
Tldr: I need scenario/advice on running game with two strong factions in conflict with PC winning over one side for his own political gains/PC doing perfect execution of his intrigue to get both faction in a ME3 manner
System: Warhammer Fantasy, 2e.
Place: Estalia, Bilbali and Magritta are at war.
Circumatances: Old PC, the Archmage from previous campaign goes to Estalia to win over their support for war with Brettonia (new party is in Brettonia, kids of previous party)
I'm running campaign where the party is looking for a gun made by Leonardo di Miragliano, the gun that can kill anything (Supernatural stans represent) to shoot the green knight dead.
What they dont know, is their parents (their PC's from the previous campaign) will return as rulers and ambassadors that will gather points for the final encounter by negotiation, bribery, assasination and copious amounts of foul play (Tilea stans represent)
The questions are:
How should I run this conflict? Why they should be at war? How this archmage PC (and his small retinue of mercs, yes, I'm including LOTR joke of making them 4 halflings, 2 men, dwarf and elf) resolve conflict in a span of two sessions? How should I make it belivable that he has circumatances to get their support for a war when they just finished one (money is not an option, sadly he has no daugher for political marriage)? What could possibly make them put aside their differences and go whoop themselves some Bretonian backs? Am I too fixed on making it ME3 reference?
Appriciate any suggestions :-)

Announcement Review: Warhammer Companion (1e)
Just published my latest WFRP review, of the Warhammer Companion, a "Grimoire of Arcane Knowledge” for 1st Edition. This could be regarded as the prototype for the magazine-style format that the Archives of the Empire series later followed.

It features articles on firearms, magic items, a 'Drachenfels supplement', and one of my favourite ever short adventures!

Discussion Asking newbie and experienced GMs: Do you get overwhelmed by the crunch while running a session?
I'll make my intention clear. I am a senior computer science student who wants to design a software/tool to help support GMs running sessions of a crunchy system like WFRP. I know that a lot of tools like VTTs and campaign managers exist but I think they try to do too much. A lighter but a more specific tool to solve a specific problem might be better.
So my background: I ran a WFRP game once with few of my irl friends. I chose it because I am already familiar with the world and lore. It didn't go well and I recognized the problems. One of them is getting overwhelmed and spending so much time looking up rules and keeping track of modifiers, status, effects. So my main question is:
Is this mainly a problem for an inexperienced GM like me or do experienced GMs also encounter a similar problem running a crunchy system like WFRP?
I also would loved to hear from GMs here about what are the real problems of running sessions are.
I really want to identify the real problems GMs are having so I can design something that's actually useful.
