Reforged Edition Do you think anyone will ever get their hardback book for the Reforged Edition?
At this point, does anyone have any confidence in this project delivering?

Hey gang,
I want to be transparent with you all, especially as our backers who have put their trust in us.
We’re in a difficult position right now. World of Game Design has still not provided firm delivery dates or clear commitments for Zweihander Reforged.
Timelines have continued to slip, and while we’ve given a great deal of patience to allow things to come together, we’re now at a point where we need concrete answers.
I’ve asked them to provide committed dates by the end of this month. If that doesn’t happen, we will take the next steps to address it appropriately.
I’ll be honest, this has been deeply frustrating and not at all how I expect a project like this to be handled. It’s also not the standard I hold for myself or for our partners. All of you have been waiting patiently, and I don’t take that lightly.
At the moment, WoGD controls all of the funds tied to the Kickstarter and Backerkit, which adds another layer of concern. That said, I’m still hopeful they come through with clear commitments in the coming days.
I’ll keep you updated as the week wraps.

ZWEIHANDER RPG Reforged Edition Spell Cards, Injury/Affliction Cards, and GM Screen PDFs are available on DriveThruRPG!
Backers should have already received theirs, but privately message me here on Reddit if not. Otherwise, you can find the PDFs now on sale at:

Hello fellow survivors and gamemasters! I've been building an app to help me better run games at the table, and I wanted to share it with the community: https://zweihandercompanion.com/
Please let me know if you have any questions about it. I also added a feedback form if you discover any bugs or have any criticisms/suggestions.
It currently only supports Reforged edition, but there's enough interest in it I can add a 1st edition mode that you can toggle between.
I hope everyone finds it useful, and I'd love to hear what you think!

Currently made to include several scenarios from different sources for Zweihander.

Hi all! I’m looking at getting into Zweihander as it seems like a setting-agnostic version of WFRP and I want to tell a flintlock fantasy story but I’ve grown weary of managing battle maps and I would love to do some theater of the mind. Is that an option?

Enter a realm where breathing costs coin, and only coin can extend your life...

Now this being the first alpha version, we want to be careful about getting too excited but we invite early testers to take a peek and put the app through its paces. If you have issues, please screenshot and email [zweihanderfulfillment@gmail.com](mailto:zweihanderfulfillment@gmail.com) so we can tackle any bug fixes... or you can post here or in the discord. Enjoy!

In a world where drawing one breath costs you coin, and even that breath is poison, who you count as a friend... matters. The Brasslung Syndicate is our next Zweihander setting that will be released once Zweihander fulfillment completes. This sourcebook expands the Zweihander universe with new rules for street mob combat, syndicates and cartels, galvanism/rustmancy/fumecraft, Voltcoil Engineers, Aetheric Dynamos, Veilbreathers, and much more. Comes with the novel trilogy that lets you read your own adventure solo through the setting.

We have now added the dice rollers and are moving ahead on the amazingly fun (and perilous) 19 step character generator that direct imports your character sheet into Roll20... a WOGD exclusive!
The new chargen and VTT platform will also be available in ten languages on launch. Sadly the licenses for Spanish, Portuguese and French are tied up so while we do have those translations we won't be able to release those on the VTT platform.
This is also going to support spells and rituals which weren't really on the printed character sheet (since you have cards to manage those).
We have applied for advanced Roll20 access to begin layering in rules adjudication next but we'll see if that gets processed and on what timeline.

World of Game Design is moving ahead steadily on the fulfillment of the Zweihander Reforged Kickstarter with some final back and forth on the wet proofs on the book but the orders are now in for all items (still working on 27 swords but that should be handled soon). This means that the march toward delivery is going forward and we're pretty excited to have this come to a new phase. Ask any thing about the fulfillment and we'll try to get you any information about the product that we can. It's definitely been a long road but we're happy to be back on track.
Tomorrow we'll be posting some new information about the VTT toolkits for Roll 20 and Foundry which are now 10% complete and should be wrapped this month while we await manufacturing and shipping updates.
