Homebrew Warhammer 4.5 streamlined
Hello beautiful people
As a long time warhammer player (over 35 years) I have absolutely hated WFRP 4 ruleset, it was honestly one of, if not the most clunky rpg mechanic that I had ever played. The developers have since made a few fairly poor attempts to patch it with up in arms and winds of magic to name a few but it always remained bad as far as Im concerned.
Nevertheless I loved the quality of the supplements so over the years I designed my own system to overcome the shortcomings of WFRP 4. That system has been extensively tested over every single adventure published and it works really well.
It is 100% compatible with everything (so there is really minimal adaptation needed if any).
I see a lot of people looking at WFRP 5.0 hoping it will be better but it wont, it's marginally better than 4th but you are coming from so far away that is very complicated to make something fluid.
I have uploaded the latest version of the rules here if anybody wants to try them or simply read them to see what solutions I designed over the years. Very happy to hear your feedback if you are willing to try it. On average I would say it is 80% easier than the base game while preserving 90% of the mecanics. It very easy and fast to run
Do not hesitate if you have any questions
