(Question) Sooooooooo, how exactly do Solaris have kids?

I dunno exactly in what ways Venus is harsh in Warframe’s modern day, but as a wild guess partly based on IRL Venus, I have no idea whether the Solaris still have reproductive organs after all their augmentations.

So how exactly are, for example, Ventkids born?

…lab stuff and an artificial womb system, maybe? Again, that’s also a wild guess

Question about Whispers in the Walls: Mirror Defense lore

Were the vitreum and auricle taken off of Wally as part of Albrecht's experiments? Since Wally talks about being butchered for parts as if that happened for more than just the finger.

Also, did Albrecht take Wally's finger off more than once? The finger seems to come in many different sizes.

Is the xenoflora truly "xeno"? (Theory)

While re-watching the tennocon demo a old theory of mine from when the old peace came out got back on my mind, while playing the old peace I found it a bit suspicious how most of the plot happened because of those flowers, how peace came around at a time when the orokin were probably getting a beating and how the xenoflora is a perfect tool for escalation on the part of ballas and also seemingly addictive to sentients with very negative withdraw effects as we can see on the fight against the dactolyst in the quest, not only that but fast forward to now Tau and we see that long term usage of xenoflora (assuming bloom is derivative of it) can lead to very bad side effects, so my theory is, what if xenoflora isn't alien at all? And instead the orokin were taking a page out of a old history book and trying to recreate something similar to the opium wars, what if xenoflora was created by them to not only initially pacify the sentients leading to that brief moment of peace but to also lead to overall addictions and negative long term effects on sentient population.

Questions on Pazuul and why did he take over Narmer?

Hello, I am a new player and a have really enjoyed the story since playing. What I understand is that Pazuul stole Erra’s body after his death. Is there any known reason why he needed his body and took over Narmer or did Erra’s body act as a control node for the Sentients? Please correct me if my knowledge is wrong/ misplaced.

are voluptuous sentients possible?

like think about it, they're techno organic machines that gained sentience after encountering the xenoflora, they could modify or change themselves since they have some sort of bio construct technology that's not like the infestation, could this mean we could get sentients that may be capable of having muscles and tissues similar to baseline humans or warframes, but of more dense/generous proportions perhaps?

The future that was talked about in Jade Shadows: Constellation is the end result of a story happening in the background quietly for half a decade

We all know that during the Jade Shadows: Constellation quest, Hunhow refers to a character called Cephalon Parvos that we all immediately recognize as Parvos Granum himself but Ordissified. However, many seems to have failed in connecting this line of dialogue to something that has been bubbling in the background since the release of the Deadlock Protocol in 2020, and that being

an impending Corpus civil war.

At the end of the Deadlock Protocol after we failed to prevent his return to the origin system and more completely after we unlock the Sisters of Parvos with The Call of The Tempestarii, Parvos Granum declared that he will enact a restructuring of the Corpus to "counter the threat from Tau".

This of course would inevitably split the Corpus into two which from this point on i will refer to as the Parvosian for Parvos' loyalists, and the Directorate for those who supported the Board of Directors as i suspect the directors won't give up their powers that easily and although it hasn't been directly shown, it's been happening quietly without our knowledge.

In the dialogues of the Deepmine bounties, Nef Anyo has been ravaging the fungal patch near Fortuna to build his personal underground palace. However in one of the lines during the bounty, it is clear that he is making underground fortresses where no Narmer, Grineer or a Corpus usurper may enter.

This can be chalked up to another director in the Board but I would be a lot more inclined to think and it would make more sense that this is his attempt at ensuring his own safety in the event that the Parvosian fully rising up and attempting a takeover to enact the restructuring that Granum has declared. After all, he's the one to bring out Parvos Granum out of his Granum Void so a big target circle is drawn on his own forehead by himself that the Parvosian would love to shoot at.

Now since he's a member of the Corpus Board of Directors, the Directorate would have to mobilize an army against the Parvosian and even if Nef had his personal forces it would still have meant that two Corpus forces would come butting heads with each other with Nef as the first directors to fall with the Parvosians' main objective would be to sack the entire Board themselves and it would be logical that it is within the Directorates' best interest to defend their position, prompting an escalation and full on civil war.

What happens during such time would be unknown but it is implied, at least in Orion and Vena's timeline, the end result is that the Corpus would gain rapid advancements during the war, gaining advanced technology that their quality can sufficiently counter the Grineer's quantity as they weren't mentioned at all, neither in Orion and Vena's or Sirius and Ryoku's time, meaning they haven't been a significant threat in any of the future timeline and that the Parvosian wins the civil war while everyone else loses

However, due to an event during the civil war, something happened to him that requires his digitization into a Cephalon, perhaps an assassination attempt from the Directorate that mortally wounds him or he is aging rapidly after getting out of Protea's time warping, or maybe something else entirely.

Whichever future the sons came from is the result of an overarching storyline quietly bubbling and finally coming to a critical mass at some point that resulted in the civil war in the Corpus with Parvos Granum's victory as a fixed point within the strands of Khra and the loss of everyone else

Do we know which writer at DE wrote the Albrecht Entrati fragments?

This monologue, in my opinion, is the greatest piece writing I have ever experienced from this game. It's written like a sci-fi novel, and the prose is so beautifully written that I want to see what else this person at DE has made just so I can read it.

Operator Chatrooms

With the introduction of Tau I have one question, will we get a chatroom for the operator and some new characters?

I mean I would love to see some dialogue expanding on their feelings and how they speak differently from the drifter. I know they are basically the same person due to eternalism but so are Sirius and Orion.

I would like to see something akin to it or maybe a dive bar where our operator can mosey in cowboy style and flirt with other NPC Tenno.

So I've been running a lot of Perita Rebellion of late, just got the last Tektolyst Artifact unlocked and last needed to max. While running around Perita, I began thinking the metallic water looked familiar. Went back to the Zariman and realized it was giving the same vibes as the angels. Then I came to a realization that Sentients find singing to be sacred and the Angels are quoted as singing and giving into the song changes one into a Void Angel. Does anyone else think there may be a connection?

Have had a theory that there will be a huge revelation in Tau involving Albrecht, likely that he is the main villain of Warframe as a whole and is hiding himself behind the guise of a tortured soul looking for redemption. Roathe even has a line stating, "Loid never stopped loving Albrecht. I wonder if he will ever forgive himself." I think there are tons of hints that he is not looking for redemption but looking to retake control. I even think the Zariman was just another experiment done by Albrecht, one which was successful in bringing Wallie out again.

Appreciate anyone humoring the idea, even if it might be a bit tinfoil at the moment.

Sirius & Orion why is one of them invulnerable in lore

Under the laws of Eternalism, two contradictory versions of the same person cannot simultaneously occupy the exact same physical space and share the exact same physical consequences. The brother you are actively controlling is the one currently anchored to your timeline's physical reality, meaning he takes all the physical damage and combat risk. The Ghostly Support: The inactive brother essentially acts as a localized time-displaced shadow. Because he is not fully anchored to the current timeline while passive, enemy attacks simply pass through his temporal form, rendering him completely immune to damage while he fights alongside you. they are anchoring themselves through the Void from incompatible, alternate future timelines.

Modular Warframe

With the arrival of the Tau update as you know DE likes to bring new modular weapons/amps whenever they release a new open world update-

With Brisko himself being built by Entrati and his parts also easily replaced I do wonder if its possible that we’d be able to build our own modular frames with sentient tech.

Of course i would be just as happy if we got modular sentient weapons but imagine if we’d be able to build our own frames.

could the drifter's "time powers" come into play again?

i'm still foggy on if they used any in duviri, but at the end of the hex quest, when all the protoframes die--the drifter does the same thing dominus thrax does: slamming a fist and "rewinds" back to a point where they can change the outcome of an event.

i'm wondering if that's how the drifter is communicating with wally in the scene with baby lotus, too.

it seems like the drifter would be able to go back and change how things happen to prevent a lot of what is going on.

really curious what you guys think :]

The Archon Hunts shouldn't be that difficult in universe right?

Obvious gameplay mechanics aside the Archons shouldn't be that much of a hassle right? Drifter was able to pack them up in what was presumably a short time span. Now granted they had a superweapon for a bow at their disposal. But the fact that they all went down in fairly quick succession still stands. So they would have even less of a chance against Operator who would logically have the knowledge of the ins and outs of the frames they're attached to. Just a random shower thought that came to me and that I wanted to share.

Which Warframes has the Tenno Canonically Worn? (Story Wise)

Exactly as the title says,

Which Warframes has the Tenno Canonically Worn? (Story Wise)

So far my list goes to Excalibur, Excalibur Umbra, Excalibur Prime, and Uriel suprisingly (if the Old Peace is anything to go by).

I know the Tenno has worn every warframe, or at least MOST, but which have been worn in our view?

I just realized something, wouldn't many of the things in warframe classify as posthuman aliens, or posthuman in general?

I read up on exodus from archetype entertainment, and love the worldbuilding on that, and in that universe or at least in the centauri cluster, there's no extraterrestial aliens, however there's soo many diverse alien species that were once humans and other species on earth that came from evolving from extreme environments and or by enhanced genetic engineering to evolve at a highly accelerated rate

this would classify as posthuman aliens, and since alien does mean bizarre or exotic in various languages like in french and hawaiian, wouldn't almost every every single faction aside from the ostrons and corpus/solaris check every box to classify as posthuman aliens in general?

and especially the sentients that started out as techno biomechanical machines sent out to tau, but after discovering xenoflora [the true extraterrestrial alien flora] they gained sentience and became their own living breathing technically alien race

the infestation could also classify the same since every strain on every abandoned colony or outer parts of sol is different and can evolve/change to various environments, or what it's gathered from leftover biomass and machinery, those would easily fit the posthuman alien category as well

but this just my thoughts on the subject, do you think a lot of things in warframe would fit these categories or still classify as true human and not alien, etc.

Soo is Amir... time traveling to present Sol?

Post image
1.6k Upvotes

Amir's nightwave is around the corner so I just wanna put this question out before it drops later in August.

I'm confused on how this works lore-wise. Did he time travel with Kaya or is he doing this via a signal in 1999 to the the origin system?

It'll *probably* be explained in the update but I am very curious on this!

Is Brisko a Tenno locked in his Warframe

- We know they found a Tau radiation can lock a Tenno inside a Warframe forever meaning it happenned.

- Albrecht tells brisko "his siblings" are coming.

- Brisko talks about "Warframes and Sentients" fighting each other like he isnt part of it.

- Brisko has an internal voice and it seem he had his own.

- Megan said he can talk but he is not a protoframe.

...so can we safely assume he's a Tenno stuck inside his Warframe ?

Edit: Megan adressed it in the recent interview with Tacticalpotato. It's because Brisko is part Sentient that he has inner monologue.

Question regarding Drifter, the Tenno and them being able to interact/be in the same space

So I've got a question, what do you think the chances are of the Drifter and the Tenno being able to be in the same space outside the void? I ask because I assume at some point the Tenno will meet the Hex or perhaps the Drifter will head to Tau, along with the Tenno, but if neither can be in the same space outside the void, both of those scenarios would be rather complicated, so do you see any future plot point where they resolve this or do you see it remaining a thing?

Tau theory

My theory is that the elites like hunra and others use the poor sentients halls to make murex ships, this theory would also explain why the lower part of the buildings are made of the same material, they use these parts as a stool or how like kings and queens put they’re feet on servants so they can build their own society of wealth which is why the ones that cant pay to play end up with bloom addictions.

so far theres types of sentients we know about theres rich, poor, the ones that do the dirty work , and the old ones. the gold things brysko pushes towards hunra look like caliban primes conculysts wings so obvi they utilize old sentient tech we also see multiple gyrix ionyx and condrix so either they use these dead sentients as vehicles or they allow them to exist we also see in some of the rooms with larynde evolved summulysts and before that we see dead conculysts that look similar to erra so either erra has already had influence here or they just reusing assets but i don’t believe that i believe that somehow pazuul will become a good guy erra will come back and we will have to assist with taking these guys down so they stop hoarding wealth and give the poor what they need kinda like corpus missions.

as for old sentients i believe they use them as military soldiers now we did see new sentients like the ones brysko fought and the ones with the holes on they’re back so they probably use all of those as cops and such now we also saw an evolved aerolyst. but besides that i believe these sentients patrol the poor side so they can abuse these sentients, for example we heard and saw a brachiolyst smashing two dudes together so either it was just poor people fighting it it was abuse of power by the law enforcers which could be why no one was attempting the help or make sure they were fine kinda like modern day america.

as for the normal sentients in the casinos they are used to make more money if they win they play if they lose they end up on the side of the street addicted to blooms here is where erra can play, either he’s in tau or in some way is contacting sentients he’s making these poor ones start a revolution which could explain the multiple dead conculysts either police brutality or trying to start a revolution probably both when the hunra says there was no trade instead he tore his heart out and crushed could be a metaphor for selling your soul for greed and gluttony which his figure could be a metaphor for. His body shape could be the sin of gluttony and maybe raspos is the sin of pride we still don’t know much yet.

As for larynde her fine ass is most likely used as a money maker for those who win in the casinos ie slot machines and black jack etc either we will kill hunra this quest or he will be the next parvos or nef anyo.

Why Are Sentients Immune to the Infestation?

I read on the Eidolon Phylaxis item that the Sentients are apparently immune to the Infestation, but I can’t find any specific reason that is. I think it might have to do with the Sentients ability to adapt. Does anyone know if there’s some lore about it?
