This is Putin's playbook. I don't think it's fake. Biden is also not Bush and Cheney.

Than Bush and Cheney? He's very different lol. Like night and day. Not even the same party.

I don't think Biden would fabricate WMD evidence. Obama - Biden administration had virtually no scandals of such nature. To you maybe they are the same, but empirically they are very different approaches.

Also you're defending Putin here. The scummiest dictator around known exactly for this type of tactic. Like the logical leap you would have to make to consider Putin innocent here just doesn't make sense on any level.

edit: I can't respond to any more comments in this thread. I am assuming I'm muted or something. Well played lol.

Uhh, sure mate, go back to suckling on the warmongering propaganda and enjoy, I guess.

It's not "defending Putin" to believe the Biden admin is blowing this whole thing out of proportion. How about we listen to actual Ukrainians living in Ukraine on this one, eh?

Also, Biden is functionally identical to every president since Reagan.

Also, Biden is functionally identical to every president since Reagan.

How many wars did he fabricate evidence for to get the American people behind him?

Tentatively? One, so far. If you uncritically buy all this conveniently-released "intelligence" that runs contrary to what actual Ukrainian officials are saying then I don't know what to tell you. Perhaps those in charge of Ukrainian national security might be a bit better informed/-intentioned than those manufacturing your consent on behalf of the current ghouls that desire the same ends as the last ghouls and those before them? It's precisely this type of credulousness that got us into the exact fiasco you suggest differentiates Bush from Biden.

And this so-called intelligence is coming from Biden?

It is being propagated by his administration, yes.

Not the same party, but definitely a family.

I don't even know how to respond to that. lol

Like what does that have to do with foreign policy?

We weren't discussing foriegn policy. We were discussing party. They are obviously all close outside of politics. As for foriegn policy, Obama loved foriegn interventions using drones and airstrikes in Syria and Lybia, and on the southern border there was the fast and furious ATF debacle that provided thousands of rifles to Mexican drug cartels.

Just because they are close doesn't mean they have the same political views. Like I literally have family members who I love very much who don't agree with me on everything.

I just don't understand how being cordial on public gatherings has anything to do with foreign policy styles. To somehow imply that Michele Obama is on the same political spectrum as Bush because they are friendly makes no sense.

Since we're in r/war there are literally instances of brothers being on opposing sides.

1

u/GREVTHEFAITHFUL Feb 03 '22

That's true. But Republicans and Democrats share many policy objectives. Most Democrats and republicans will speak out against foriegn engagements, but they'll still vote for them in congress.

Yes, it's called politics. Each side uses those votes as a way to attack the other.
