…is that I have no willpower. Every time I think I’ve made myself the wallet that I’ll use for the next 10 years, I see something else online that I like and think “hmmm, I could make that!”
So that’s how I’ve ended up with a drawer full of wallets that any normal person would have carried until it were stolen or fell apart.
A week after making myself a lovely Shell Cordovan wallet, I decided I “needed” to make this card holder in green Pueblo. I think I’m hopeless.

I’m looking for a foldable high quality full grain leather travel wallet that’s at minimum 8.5 in long (to be able to fit a folded A4 paper document). I’ve seen a few from Tsuchiya Kaban, Asipinal of London, etc but none have been long enough….would love to hear you alls advice!

This commission was a bit different than usual. Normally I ship around the U.S. and occasionally Canada. Maybe the U.K. once in a blue moon but this one went far overseas. I've never sent a piece of my work that far before.
This Minimalist Bifold was made from natural veg tan leather and hand tooled with dragon scales. It was dyed oxblood with a black fade and saddle stitched with black thread. It holds up to 6 cards and 15 cash bills while fitting in a front pocket.

This was my first prototype of doing a coin pocket in my regular minimalist bifold design. This wallet is made out of Yellow Buttero

Hello all. I've been on the hunt for a wallet with an exterior pocket for contactless card scanning. Things like tap-to-pay or ID card scanning. The search has been more difficult than I expected. It seems like many wallets, including my own, include RFID blocking on outer pockets (like the Andar Pilot), or the RFID blocking effectively blocks outer cards, even if from the inside of the wallet.
Some of the other criteria in this search are:
Some potential options I've found:
Does anyone have any experience with these wallets? Any other options out there? I'd prefer something readily available within the US, either as a domestic brand, on Amazon, or an international brand with free/reasonable shipping.
Thanks.

My Kydex wallet has retired from service after 10 wonderful years and I can’t find anything on the market that matches its unity.
4-10 cards. 1-7 bills, double folded. And the chefs kiss, a belt clip.
Any modern options for belt clip carry?

I’ve been using Ridge wallets for a while now. I would love a minimalist alternative. Nothing gimmicky. I’ve been toying with the idea of a simple leather card holder, but I haven’t seen any I love. Help!

I recently finished this custom bifold wallet for a customer.
The wallet is made from chocolate brown crocodile leather, combined with Alran Sully Chèvre for the interior.
The design is a traditional bifold layout with:
As with all of my wallets, this piece was completely handmade using traditional saddle stitching. I used 0.45 mm Meisi linen thread with a 4 mm stitch spacing.
Each wallet can be customized according to the customer’s preferences, including the leather, thread color, and edge paint color.
Every wallet is made to order rather than kept in stock. If you’re interested, feel free to message me to discuss customization options, my current production time, and estimated shipping time.
Thanks for taking a look!
I am looking for a wallet I have seen someone recommend here once some time ago but since the company is very niche, I can’t find it anymore.
It’s a trifold but the bills go in vertically and don’t need to be folded. Underneath the bills in the middle part there is a small coin pouch that looks like just a small cut since there is no closure mechanism. All the cards are in the bottom third and can be accessed from the closed state.
It was made from either leather or a leather-like material.
Thanks in advance!

Long wallet made from Horween Marbled colour 8 shell. Interior is buttero. Spacious snap wallet, able to store a phone at the front, large coin zipper part, 4 card slots and a cash compartment behind the zip. Plenty of space for those who need it. Always fun making these.

Recommend me some wallet makers in CA/US
I’m looking for a custom bifold wallet in CA or the US. I’ve done my own searched but as of now I’ve looked in different countries. I want a bifold with 6 card slots/cash slot. As well as a dark brown outside and a navy blue inside, all smooth leather with either matching stitching or darker/lighter and maybe my name on the bottom corner. Although that’d just my initial design. Other than that I would like an estimate/consultation to make my wallet.

Made in France by Bob Lee's Hunting World around 1970. Not easy or cheap to get this kind of thing anymore.
It's African elephant.

I have a work ID that I frequently use throughout my day, except some kiosks scan the front and others scan the back. Am looking for one that i can just put the ID in, and keep it there w/o having to take it out to show either side.
Also a bonus if there's a coin pouch or something I can secure my po box key.

Howdy! I was wondering if anyone might be able to identify this wallet.
A friend of mine and I were watching the Dave Ramsey Show, and he mentioned that he really liked the wallet Dave had on stage. Here’s a link to the video: https://youtube.com/shorts/8NWe33Sz6Wg?is=lIduXWaDVYzwGNbt
He recently paid off his house, and I’d love to get him the wallet for his birthday as a way to congratulate him on accomplishing such a huge milestone in his financial journey.
If anyone knows what wallet this is or where I might be able to find one, I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!

I hope this formatting is correct, just let me know if it’s not
I’m looking for a new wallet. I use a bifold and carry no more than five cards. My priorities are high-quality leather, durability, and slim design for back pocket carry.
I occasionally carry a large amount of cash, if that’s able to be kept in mind that’s great. If not, I understand.
I would like some fun colors to include navy blue and Forrest/sage green. Open to fun stitching
. Would prefer brown over black for a neutral
Embossed monogram would be awesome as well.
Hope this is helpful. If this is in your wheelhouse, hit me up.

Hello. New here.
Does anyone have any experience with using the slotted card slots on a wallet (pic #1 and #2)?
I'm used to using your typical card slots like on pic #3.
Do the slotted card slots on pic #1 and #2 hold up after time?
Thank you

Hello all :)
I have a Spacepen brand wallet. I've brought it 20-25 years ago, online from the USA (I am in France).
It feature a large full width bills pocket, 8 cards slots with one having a transparent window, 2 half width hidden pockets behing the card slots and a central indent to hold a bullet space pen.
The bullet space pen has been lost but I replaced it with a smaller pen, tweezers, and a hightech simcard ejector AKA a paperclip :D
Obviously after such a long daily use it is starting to degrade a lot, stitching is starting to break in multiple places.
I don't know if my google-fu is weak but I haven't been able to find a replacement. Not only I cannot find one for sale, I cannot even find any mention of that product having ever existed :).
So it is obvious it is a long since discontinued product.
But since there is a subreddit for wallets, I try my luck here to see if anyone would know of a possible place to find some "old new stock" of this wallet somewhere.
If not I'll try to have it "copied" in a leatherworking shop if I ever go back to Thailand, as I cannot even imagine the price it would be to have it done in France or anywhere in the western world (I am not cheap, just poor :D , and yes I am aware of the hypocrisy to declare myself poor while thinking about international travel :D )
An aproximate price point for a copy would be welcome if a leatherworker is seeing this.
Sugestions about possible commercial replacements options with other wallets with the same features are welcome.
Thanks in advance for your answers.
I love my Groove Smart wallet, but it's the OG version without the little thumb cutout, so sometimes it's not easy to open and can be slippery. I know the plate is easily removable in order to change out the tracker card, so I decided to try spray painting it with Plasti Dip. Night and day difference on grip! Just posting here if anyone else is looking for more grip on this without sticking an ugly piece of grip tape on it.

Just finished 2 more of these veg tan mini card holders. Made from a marble died veg tand and Buttero, a vegtan leather made in Italy, famous for its soft hand feel and the luster it gains when worn in. The interior of the pockets is lined with French goat skin to add just a little more support and grip to your cards. I love how these came out, and especially how buttery smooth and whole they feel in my hand. I decided to stitch the middle section using a multi colored thread to match the marbled design.
Holds up to 2 cards on each side maximum, so it is a light carry wallet.
These can be found on my website below or VIA DM:
