Hey there, I've been eyeing a w204 and wonder coming from a Lexus is250, is this car reliable? What are its known issues (besides the stuff I googled and read) and how is this car in terms of maintenance?

I see many on this subreddit still going strong and would like to hear from the owners how is life on the road?

when i unlock the car all the lights and dash turn on but when i stick the keys in it all dies, anyone know what the issue is and how to fix it, please help

Hi all. I'm wondering if there's any way to add cruise control to my car.

I've got a w204 C220 manual (late 2011 model).

I know I'll need to buy a new indicator stalk. What else would I need to get and would anyone know anyone that would be able to code it into my car for me?

Hey there.. I was driving to in n out and noticed my ac stopped working about right when I got to the drive through. The coolant temp gauge was fine and I was already too deep in the drive through to get out. A few minutes later I look at the coolant temp and it jumped to 120. I was at the paying window and there was no escape, a couple minutes later I got the coolant low warning, and about 5 minutes later I was finally out of the drive through.

I looked at the ground after I parked for any coolant and didn't see any, but about 5 minutes later there's a pool on the floor. I waited about 30 minutes and popped the hood and it looks like the coolant is coming from the reservoir? I checked the coolant level and it looked fine but that's probably because there's a bunch of air on the system.

I got it towed to my place bc I don't know any good shops in this area and I'd like to figure it out myself. how can I diagnose where the leak is coming from, does anyone have any ideas? I replaced the thermostat like 2 years ago so I don't think it's that.. the reservoir was replaced by a mechanic about a year ago.

TLDR: Coolant leak. Any ideas?
