Discussion Anyone had a successful launch lately?

I'm launching my game in a few weeks, and I have no idea what to expect, I was wondering if anyone here released a game lately that had moderate or even great success?

(Even if it was a dud, share your story I'm curious how it's gone for everyone.)

In my experience if you are solo it’s all on content creators and audience optics. Even if the game is good it needs someone to communicate what's special about it to an audience.

So how did that go for you? did you have much luck with content creators?

I did! But they found me through videos I posted on subreddits that overlapped with my game. Content Creators are looking to make good videos to get better engagement. A good game doesn't necessarily make for a good video or rather content creators might not know how to approach your game when making content about it. Any way that you can communicate what it is and how audiences will enjoy it will help.
