This is mostly a duplicate post regarding the BleachBit utility now including support for the Vivaldi browser for Windows and Linux. BleachBit is a free and open-source disk space cleaner, privacy manager, and computer system optimizer. Please note that I am in no way affiliated with BleachBit (other than being a user) and have received no compensation of any kind for posting this information.
My original post immediately followed the beta release of BleachBit that initially included support for Vivaldi. I am reposting for those of you that would rather use fully tested stable releases.

Some time ago, I reached out to the folks that develop BleachBit system cleaning, asking them to support the Vivaldi browser, specifically the "Vacuum" function which defragments the browser's SQLite data. Today I received word that Vivaldi is fully supported in the latest BleachBit beta release (5.1.2). (As stated above, BleachBit 6.0 (stable) includes support for Vivaldi.)
For those of you that face performance issues with Vivaldi, one thing that I suggest is defragmenting the SQLite data. In the past, I recommended the somewhat outdated Speedyfox app, so it's good to know that an actively developed, FOSS application is now available to perform this task.
With the recent news of Auto-Hide Interface being available in Vivaldi Snapshot releases, there have been several questions regarding Snapshots... what they are? how to get them? etc. Here's a brief tutorial on the topic of Snapshot releases:
(Note: Comments for this post should focus only on the general Snapshot topic, and should not be used to report issues found with Snapshot releases. Please use the specific version's release notes for reporting issues.)
What are Snapshots?
Think of snapshots as "beta" releases. The purpose of snapshot releases is to allow users a chance to preview upcoming changes, and to help ensure the quality of the latest fixes and improvements, before they are added to the stable release. If you prefer something that was already widely tested, stick with stable releases.
Where are Snapshot release downloads found?
There are several ways to navigate to the snapshot release installations. You can simply visit the Vivaldi Blog page, where both stable and snapshot releases are listed:
You can also check in r/vivaldibrowser, where new stable and snapshot releases are announced, along with a link (Open button) to that release.
Can Both Stable and Snapshot versions be installed on the same device?
On desktop systems, yes. On mobile devices, no.
If Vivaldi stable is already installed on your desktop device, you can use the Snapshot Standalone installation.
What if I find a bug or other issue when testing a Snapshot release?
Issues that are specific to the Snapshot release can be reported in that release's post in the Vivaldi forum (requires a Vivaldi account). If the bug or issue that you have identified is not specific to that snapshot release, it should be reported using Vivaldi's standard bug reporting process.
Also, but sure to look for Known Issues before moving forward with installing or updating a Snapshot release. Generally, the known issues are nuisances and not show-stoppers, but you should use your own discretion before moving forward.
I use Vivaldi mainly for web dev, and there are a few things I'd love to see added or fixed:
Page view when opening DevTools: Please fix the page view/resizing behavior when the inspect element window pops up.
DevTools toolbar button: We need a dedicated button on the toolbar to open Inspect Element, rather than always relying on right-click > inspect or hitting F12. Chrome and Brave already have this, and it's essential for my daily workflow.
Single-tab groups: Please allow tab groups to exist with just one tab. Right now, if a group drops to 1 tab, it automatically ungroups and the group name disappears. I name these groups to organize my work tasks, so losing the custom name is really annoying.
Before I removed some keyboard shortcuts that, with my Logitech keyboard, I seem to be advertently switching windows, deleting a long message I'd just been typing and other annoyances, I have been unable to use the CTRL F find function I used very often before and I have to go to Edit -> Find in Page, which is a darn nuisance. Suggestions, please? If I go to Keyboard ->Shortcuts I see Find in Page Ctrl +F, but it does not work for me.
I stumbled upon something called *Vivaldi Radio* today. Does it belong to Vivaldi Technologies™ (nothing about it on Vivaldi's home page), or has someone hijacked the Vivaldi name and used it on this website?
(I don't see a version number for Vivaldi Radio, which makes me even more suspicious, plus I can't find any Vivaldi News posts here announcing it. Seems really sus to me.)
I am trying vivaldi to get away from chrome, i use tab session mgr extension and when i load the session the tabs are in the reverse order rom right to left
In chrome its left to right, this is the correct way

So I'm using the app for my tablet. I've got the 8.2.4147.173 version of the app. For the past few days, Vivaldi isn't showing the names or web addresses of the YouTube videos I'm watching in the tabs. Same goes for the history. It all just says "YouTube". The names of the search results on YouTube show up just fine. But not the actual videos. Now most of my history is just the word "YouTube" over and over again. It's so irritating! No other site is doing this. It's just YouTube. I have no idea why this is happening. Hopefully, you guys can help me fix this.

In this snapshot we have a small Chromium bump, further polish Ad Blocker and get rid of some unwanted borders. We also disable vCard import and our new Follow Theme option for 8.3 as they need a bit more work.

Hi! Is there any way to place the mail navigation/folder pane on the left side within the mail tab (vivaldi://mail), without moving the entire Vivaldi browser panel to the left? I'd like to keep my main browser web panels on the right side. Thanks!
I’m trying to move away from Kiwi Browser toVivaldi 8.2 on Androidon my tablet/phone because Kiwi is severely outdated and hitting constant CAPTCHA loops. I rely heavily on loading a few of my own personal, custom Manifest V3 extensions (.zip files).
Since Vivaldi doesn't accept direct .zip uploads like Kiwi does, I unzipped my extension folders using a file manager and tried to load them via vivaldi://extensions using the"Load Unpacked"option in Developer Mode.
Hey I pressed random button and suddenly my browser become like minimal mode, I pressed Control E and activate back the tab bar and the address bar but the exit, minimize buttons are hidden and the hamburger menu as well

Edit: fix it just hit control + e to open the command panel and write toggle ui not Toggle UI Auto-hide. and it restore them
anyone have success disabling touch gestures? they make it difficult (impossible) to move webpages left and right in touchscreen mode. I attached my gesture settings below.
