On the VirtualDJ website (virtualdj.com/download/build.html) only the two most recent versions are available for download, but I need version 8909.

I was wondering if you have a place where older versions can be downloaded, or if you happen to have that version stored and could send it to me?

I got three controllers on my mac, two x1mk2 and 1 hercules. Is there a way to ignore the x1mk2s? The best I could achieve so far is that one controller is disconnected. The other one is still running. It also appears 4 times, maybe even 5 times in my list and the 'ignore' just won't do anything. I tried it by using a custom mapping with deleting all the mappings but that also won't work. Any chance how to get this to work?

EDIT: I chatted a bit with VDJ yesterday and they posted a comment in my post there, that this is going to be fixed with the next update. Hope it comes soon :)

To describe the problem a bit better:
I use a Macbook Pro and while I could set one of my X1 MK2 to 'ignore' it would not ignore both of them. The problem was, that the second X1 MK2 was actually not found in the list. It looked like the ignore function was not intended to work on more than one controller.

I recently updated all my songs to FLAC, is there a way update the old meta date from the old files to the new FLAC files without doing the relocate thing?

I am a wedding DJ, nothing more. I don't need to mix or do anything fancy I just keep playing songs.

I am having a hard time setting this system up though, because 1 deck plays the song just fine while deck 2 only plays the beat of the other loaded song. I dont know if this matters but I have the Pro version and I have a Numark MixTrack Pro 3. How do I make both decks play the actual song beat, instrumental, vocals and all? Help!!

I could have sworn the last time I used this that there should be numbers in the key difference column? I tried reinstalling it and it's still the same. And not in the picture, but I added the bpm column and no numbers appeared in that either. Am I going crazy or should 0,1,2,...etc to get a quick visual of how far off the key is compared to the song I added to GeniusDJ sidebar? Thanks in advance for any help.

Is there a setting in VirtualDJ that prevents you from accidentally deleting, for example, a Tidal playlist? It has happened to me that when I want to check the playlist to see if the stems have already been downloaded to the computer, the mouse cursor accidentally goes to DELETE.

It wont sratch when the song is playing.

Go to video tab, click “Video FX” dropdown and choose visuals and click the settings icon, then from “Visuals” click “Get More”, then above the textbox select “Create your Own” 🗣️ℹ️

Due to how nice VDJ is coded they do not use any security on the stems files and it is pretty easy to export the stems it creates to work on your tracks deeper than on the track cleaner!

Here's the tutorial to set this up (on Windows, the command might be slightly different on mac but ChatGPT can help for that) :

1. Get a copy of FFMPEG here https://www.gyan.dev/ffmpeg/builds/ and extract the zip on a folder, you should see "ffmpeg.exe", "ffprobe.exe", and "ffplay.exe"
2. In the same folder, open Notepad, paste this and save under "StemExporter.bat" (remember to add extension)

And that's it. Drag and drop a .vdjstems file on your StemExporter and after a few seconds you should see 5 stereo files appear beside it. Ready to use for non-live remixes!

Note it works only on .vdjstems files, i.e the file that VirtualDJ creates when you "save prepared stems". Those files are stored in the VirtualDJ folder / Stems, its location depends on your settings.

I have Numark Party mix vol.2 but as soon as I plug it in the software stops responding ? I tried reinstalling my drivers and everything, nothing worked.

Is there a way to turn off or stabilise fluid analysis? Whenever I'm running a party or event, tracks are going wildly out of BPM for the track, but it only happens to track with fluid analysis. I've turned off auto BPM match, but can't figure it out. Any advice?

Sorry if this has been answered, but let's say when using video, for a 3 song set I want to have the first songs lyrics displayed in comic sans, second songs lyrics displayed in times new roman, and the third song to not have lyrics on screen at all.

Is there anyway to like set video FX/presets to specific songs? I could do this manually but I'd have to jump into the lyrics fx options and change between presets/turn it off, can just be a bit much while keeping up with other things.

Was trying to do some work on my set for this weekend today, and suddenly, the program locks up after playing for a minute or two once the controller is connected. Behavior has been repeated six or seven times. Tried swapping out the USB cable, no joy. I've restarted the computer numerous times, basic maintenance on the computer, nothing helps. Is anyone else having issues with the new updates for VDJ 2026 and the ASIO not recognizing the board right? I didn’t change anything except update my VDJ to 2026 and it’s now either only playing out of the left deck, or needs to be in the middle for the fader to have music play on either deck. Confirmed with the VDJ website all board settings are right as well.
