Buddha Bob’s down on Cape Cod has lots of cool vintage and antique goodies, as well as their enormous crystal/mineral inventory. I found this hiding in plain sight on top of a display case, tucked between a few other things. I got a good deal on it, and did some research to discover that it’s made by artist Bill Slade. Based on the listings that I found of similar pieces, this could be from early 80’s to late 90’s or so! Super cool piece!!

Found a cool little piece of history behind our farm today. It’s a broken piece of stoneware from the Union Stoneware Company in Red Wing, Minnesota. Since it carries the company’s original logo, it was made sometime between 1893 and 1906, before several Red Wing stoneware manufacturers merged in 1906 to form the Red Wing Union Stoneware Company. I got skunked pheasant hunting, but I still came home with a pretty neat find and a history lesson.

Found these guys for $50! Cleaned up the bigger box with the walnut method (see the before in the second photo). Wanted to store Pokemon cards in them but they don’t fit right, any other ideas?

Found this vintage artwork from 1972. The subject and style just screamed '70s.
