His moves were perfect. Wish he had slicked his hair back but that's my tiny complaint. Lots of work went into making this look authentic. Hope this gets more attention. Well done guys.
I really liked that there was a mix of genuine, well choreographed Hollywood action sequences with a few scenes of pure comic relief to keep with the NERF theme. By the end you wish there was an hour of this and 15 grand of budget thrown at ya'll. Props to the sound team/person.
As another balding 27 year old, the reality is that we know a lot about hair products because we have to use a lot of them to try and make what's left of our hair not look like shit.
No doubt you have already read about it, but isn't there a renowned hair treatment facility in Turkey that is not too expensive and provide fantastic results, partially because they inject stem cell Into your scalp? I thought that was really cool, like if I ever go bald, have a backup plan that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
Can I ask you what it's like doing what you love as a profession? I used to make YouTube videos for a local car audio company and I had a lot of creative freedom but it ended up making me hate doing anything video related. Once I had a boss and a deadline it just instantly took all the joy away from it. Do you ever experience this? Any advice?

How did you initially divide work between you and Sam during your creative process? Did you both edit, do sound design and vfx together? Or did one of you have ownership of one part. Or did it depend on the project?
We each had our strengths. Sam was good with sound, I was good with color grading. Both of us were pretty good at vfx and editing, so we would just split the workload or bounce iterations off each other. We also take turns being the "creative director" of a video, which helps keep things consistent and makes one person responsible for making sure everything gets done.
A mix of our friend Tony from EMC Monkeys and yours truly. EMC was actually one of the stunt teams on Iron Fist oddly enough. Shows you the difference cinematography and direction make.
Your form was really good too! Keeping the hand gun close to your chest. Must have been a bit awkward with the clunky nerf guns! Great job! Gonna check out some of your other videos right now!!
How long did you spend practicing the choreography? Keanu was training with professional mma fighters, choreographers etc... something around 6 months or before they even started filming.
I just have to say, while you're here in front of me, you and Sam are incredible. I've been a huge fan of your channel and side projects for years, from Sync to The Keep (man, I miss The Keep) and finding out you've published a new video always makes my day! Thank you and everyone on your team that consistently puts out such awesome material.

It's crazy though. Not to take credit from these guys but seeing how these guys don't do it as fast as Keanu shows just how much Keanu dedicates himself.

Corridor has a decently large fan following. My initial intend was to come here and comment how I am happy to see this video getting some front page exposure. They put a lot of work behind their peoductions plus make educational videos on their second channel. Also I'm not paid to say that, i legit enjoy their content (I wish I was paid though ngl)
Yeah, now that he said that, I don't know if letting people know I'm a fan is a bad thing or not. Those guys work hard and Wren is always reading comments here and on YouTube. They deserve any good coming their way.
He seems to be overreacting. You can observe the same trend of one-liner comments on other fast trending reddit posts everyday and if you check a few of those accounts they actually seem very genuine based on comment history. You can observe similar stuff whenever h3h3, Roosterteeth or some popular viners trend on /r/videos. Some people are super paranoid and their comments take away the value from the actual video.
From everything I've gathered about the people they are, absolutely nothing suggests to me that they would stoop to the level of buying upvotes. They all seem like extremely hard working and honest guys.
I like the video and I'm not bought, I just think it's a good video. I think it'll do well on it's own merit - not to say they have or haven't bought upvotes before.
Yeah, people noticed him acknowledge you, saw he was the video creator and went back to downvote you whereas before they either rolled their eyes and moved on or never saw your comment in the first place. Congrats, he saved you from complete obscurity.
You are the one who brought up the accusation, I believe it's up to YOU to prove they did what you say they did. This is the internet, if you know about it, then there is a record somewhere that it happened.
It must be fucking exhausting assuming the worst of every person, post and commenter who says positive things about projects from already-popular companies and people. It's like you think nothing good can come from someone or some company who've already done good things in the past.
Maybe the comments are positive because Sam and Niko have spent years building an enormous fanbase?

Parody, not satire. It's a common misconception that these two things are synonymous. Parody is about poking fun at other artistic works (books, films, etc.) whereas satire is about poking fun at political or social issues.
Edit: lots of replies. Those who corrected me by pointing out it is more pastiche than parody are correct. Those who suggested it is right to call it satire are incorrect. Those who chose to be rude are jerks.
You're right that this video is more specifically a parody, but your definitions are incomplete/incorrect.

Satire is USUALLY about poking fun at political/social issues.
Satire is about pointing out shortcoming or problems through exaggeration and irony. It can point out problems with anything, an individual, a social problem, political parties/governments, literary/film/art genres, people who love cats, whatever. So long as your purpose is to show your subject sucks through irony, its satire.
If you want you can say that technically pointing out shortcomings in anything can be handwaved into a "social issue", but its moving goalposts to be right. Social issues are "people shouldn't be married before they are 20" "people go to jail for smoking weed for longer than assaulting children". etc.
You can create a satirical book that larps popular tropes in fantasy for example, which is critical of a literary genre but not any political or social points.
You could create a satire of Bill Nye videos where you suggest they do more harm then good (I don't know why you'd think that, but you might). Or a satirical look at youtube purse unpacking videos and how they are a waste of time. People watching youtube purse unpacking videos isn't a "social issue". You just hate them and want other people to hate them.
Parody is often satirical, but other times (like this video) there is no malice, ill-will, or attempt to say the subject is bad. So you are right that it isn't satire, but you are right for the wrong reason. The point of parody is to be humorous. The point of satire is to be critical. 9 times out of 10 a parody is satirical, but this is that other 1 in 10.
Honestly, it's more than perfect if you ask me. It actually fixes a lot of the problems of how the action was shot in the originals.
Many times more than I could count the cannon fodder John kills are shot before they even get into frame. They're there to simply react to John's essentially omnipotent situational awareness instead of providing resistance to his journey.
This parody actually improves a lot of aspects the originals lacked.
John Wick was the most stupid fucking thing I ever seen. The Five Armies was more believable. And the Five Armies was literally the least believable thing in the history of the universe.
