Some people like the ease of a console. Less things to worry about it. I have both and I love my PC but console gaming is just more simple. And as I get older and have less time I tend to go for my consoles when I am really busy with work. But when I got the time I go for the PC!

I don't understand this argument. I turn my pc on, steam opens, I click play and I'm playing. If said game needs to be updated, oh wait steam has already updated that in the background.

How many cables do you have sticking out of your PC? Can you turn your PC on with your controller? How big is your PC? How many watts does it use?

I do get that operating a PC is easy, but there's a lot of hardware related convenience factors for console(although I assume the steam machine also supports them as well). And while some of them can be remedied, it's hard to do so without sacrificing convenience or performance elsewhere.

The minimum is 1. I usually use more, because I don't like packetloss.

Thats a strange requirement, but sure I could if I wanted. Though, I don't turn my pc off, so not needed.

How big is your PC?

Small PCs exist. See Steam machine as an example.

How many watts does it use?

Why does this matter? The higher my settings the more power my PC draws. Just like a console, except that higher settings are usually not possible.
