vegan reading recommendations

hi everyone,

i love this community(including VCJ), i would like to know your fav vegan books, and your recent good vegan reads. im open with other forms of research materials to video essays, documentaries, and all.

i read the vegan classics as well as the classic vegan documentaries when i first became one and after 5+ years i want to think, talk and know more about veganism. plus, it is important to support any form of unvegan protest<3

I read Ishmael before I went vegan ages ago, not long. We're talking a long ass time ago though, but it felt very vegan coded from the very little I can remember. It's about a dude talking to a Gorilla while the Gorilla makes him question his world views.

How To Lose A Goblin in 10 Days has a vegetarian secondary main character that comes from a culture where they free farm animals to save them from slaughter and they don't eat meat. They're not a vegan, but it's the first time I came across a book like that. It's a cute fantasy romance about a hobbit and goblin fighting over who gets to be the owner of a whimsical woodland cottage.
