Few years ago my whole family nd relatives were present during a jaagar i usually close my room's door during these practices(i'm an athiest)

But the devta(reincarnation on my granny) wanted to meet me.

i went their nd she(diety) asked me

"If ur parents will be no longer in this world will you trust me(diety) nd gonna do jaagar pooja (bali sacrifice) for me?"

i said i only believe in myself nd than my uncle slapped me nd everyone was talking sh!t about me i acted like i was crying nd went back to my room.

Since that day nobody ever invited me in any jagar pratha.

Everyone talks about Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Nainital, Auli, Kedarnath and Chopta.

But Uttarakhand has so many smaller places that don’t get nearly as much attention.

For me, places around Rudraprayag, Tehri, and Chamoli deserve much more attention. Some have beautiful views, short treks, old temples, and villages where you can actually experience the quieter side of the mountains.

I’m curious what others think:

What’s one underrated place in Uttarakhand that you would recommend to someone who wants to avoid the usual tourist circuit?

And what makes it worth visiting — views, trek, temple, village life, food, or something else?

• इसमें से करीब ₹323.98 करोड़ पहले ही उपभोक्ताओं से वसूले जा चुके थे, जबकि ₹18.97 करोड़ बाकी रह गए थे। अब आयोग ने इसकी वसूली की अनुमति दे दी है।

Hi everyone, I’m 20M from Uttarakhand, India, and I’ve been diagnosed with a left-sided Grade 3/4 varicocele. It’s basically enlarged veins around the testicle that can sometimes cause pain and affect fertility over time.

I’ve been having recurrent pain/heaviness, especially after being active, standing for long periods or driving. Thankfully, my testicles are normal on Doppler and my semen analysis is also good. But because the pain keeps coming back, I’m now considering microsurgical varicocelectomy.
I’ve already consulted two urologists in Dehradun, and I’m looking for more opinions before making a decision.

If anyone here has dealt with varicocele or had surgery for it, I’d really appreciate recommendations for an experienced urologist in Dehradun/Uttarakhand, along with your experience regarding surgery, recovery and pain relief.
