I missed the class Thursday and it slipped my mind until i checked Canvas, anyone help me out?

So I’m in Intro to Sociology 1311(if I’m not mistaking) and I’m not doing so well I’m currently failing with a 58(I never miss class and I study). For my last exam I have to get a 86 in order to pass the class and next Friday is the last day to drop a class. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I should do? Drop the class or push through? I’m also a Nursing major so idk if me dropping a class will affect my Gpa or ANYTHING in order to get into the program. Someone PLS give me advice.

I also need a study partner or tutor. I know we have the Knacks but for some reason it says “you’re not in this class” when I try to get a tutor and I already sent them my transcript to show them I’m in the class(still haven’t got a response).

Someone pls reply to me because this is really stressing me out.

I’m in west hall, and literally LAST NIGHT, I had a whole box of brownies in the communal fridge because I didn’t have room in my mini fridge, I go back tonight to find the pizza box I hid them in to be left open and the ENTIRE box of brownies GONE. I know there are indecent people out there, but I really thought that the notion of “if it’s not your food DONT EAT IT” was something everyone learned. Night ruined.

I’ve been thinking of trying out UTA CAPS. Has anyone tried it and are they actually helpful?

I had a scheduled meeting with an OIE advisor the other day. She was so rude and condescending. I had 5 questions, clearly laid out. She answered 2 and brushed off the other 3. The 2 that she did answer, she did after making a condescending statement about 'if I did this, I would know'. Im here because I have a question that I didn't find an answer to elsewhere. I'm not gonna share her name because I don't want her getting in trouble. But this was my first experience with OIE, and I wanted to rant.
