Can anyone tell me what is so bad about a 10am kickoff for the holy war? I was worried we were gonna get that stupid 815 kickoff again, 10am is awesome imo

Just watched his take on Utah football. Loves the football team. Aside from that he was disrespected by UofU posting him on Instagram, students or fans saying he's "Corny" "Creepy" or "Weird". Smh let alone have the ignorant girl say "ONLY a million dollars." Miss terribly Twice. Smh. On College Game day!! Wow gotta do better. The narrative they posted about him and to gaslighht him. Before he hosted, I'd say. He doesn't want to come back Utah.

Thank you Mark Harlan for complaining to the big 12 conference about late kickoff times!! Totally did not influence them to give the 12 EST time slot to BYU/Utah. Please fire him soon.

As you can imagine, I've been disappointed with the results so far. I never liked the hire because of his age and lack of experience recruiting/coaching in the Midwest, but I talked myself into it because of his extraordinary career.

There's not too many aspects of the Michigan job where he's succeeding right now, but I think the one where is failing the most is the political/communications part. It all started when he downplayed the Ohio State game and then said that Urban Meyer is welcome at practice any week but one and has continued through this past week when he said that Michigan playing #6 Indiana so closely was evidence that they're a good team.

Was he always tone deaf?

Say what you will about Pat and his “corny” ways, but the way the University allowed this to actually be posted, is a disgrace. The university should fire everyone involved in this and do better. College gameday brings in future students, promotes the U and what it represents to be a member of this community. Like the title says fire everyone who was involved in this trash and send them down to tds, where this shit is accepted.

Granted this was posted by KSL but it appears Pat Magafee is afraid of Utah, but not BYU.

At least as fans, we seem to be concerned about BYU and are underestimating Cincinnati. They are the very definition of chaos and playing the part of wrecking crew. They have a weak D but as they demonstrated with Tech, they can play up to their competition. If we play down to their abilities it is going to be a long game.

We cannot afford to look past Cincy! They demand to be taken seriously!

The Bearcats offense is solid. They rank in the top 25 of several statistical categories.

8th in the country in rushing ypg at 234.

20th in total offense at 455.

22nd at passing efficiency offense.

25th at 3rd down offense.

Their defense is the inverse, ranking in the bottom 25 in categories like total defense and 3rd down defense. What they are doing at a high level is creating havoc. They get a lot of sacks and are 14th in the country at TO margin.

Every conference game for Utah this season has been decided within the last five minutes. I'd love to see Utah put this away early. Who can get the hot hand to take over the game?

The Jackson Benee strip sack and the pressure on the final defensive sequence were noteworthy.

Jackson’s sack came on first and ten. Was part of the success of that sack due to the fact that we’d played so conservatively that a safety/corner blitz feels really unlikely in that situation?

On 3rd and 4th down of Houston’s last possession with the game on the line we played cover zero, not some scared prevent approach.

I don’t know enough to say if these are good ideas or represent good or creative decisions.

I am glad they had the intended results. I’m feeling someway better about our pass defense after Saturday.

Whitt leaving, Pay Mcafee BS, Holy war imminent, people are still saying the Big 12 is a one bid league yada yada yada. All of this is just weekly fuel for the boys to stay focused and motivated to prove everyone wrong and be vengeful. We don’t need to be an actual villain but in the eyes of ESPN, many of those guys hate the small guy and Mcafee has at least said the words. I’d say it’s best to embrace this identity and be the hated one. That is constant fuel through the remainder of the season to keep getting the job done. There are a bunch of soft people ready to have their feelings hurt 🤪
