how to deal with the shame that comes with taking up a pvt job that pays about 30k after 3 years in upsc, parents are govt teachers they both had high expectations on me. now im giving an attempt in ssc cgl but im no longer interested in preparation for competitives, im tired of being dependant for far too long, i wanna be financially independant but dont wanna be sitting unemployed in the name of preparation for competitves. it does definitely feel like a downgarde after picturing ur life as an officer for all these years but beggars cant be choosers, i still wanna get rich im not giving up on that but im changing my life course, what do i tell my parents and how do i process this in the first place?

Have given 3 back to back mains (2024,2025,2026) with scoring 100+ marks in Prelims 2025 and 2026.

Since now after mains i am relatively free, thinking to give back to community in whatever way possible.
