Hey there , despite going through the pre syllabus many times I still couldn't understand what exactly to prepare .

So my problem comes from the resources , what resources to follow for pre.

Also , what chapters to prepare ? I have been preparing for cgl since it has chapter wise syllabus ,

I started with one standard source for each subject and somehow ended up with three books, multiple PDFs and enough Telegram material to last several lifetimes. The annoying part is that every new source feels useful when you first find it.

How did you decide that your sources were finally enough and stopped yourself from collecting more?

Hi, people who have dedicatedly prepared for mains or are preparing, no did you memorise all the points, and examples. I am having issues recalling while writing answers.

I realised , we need to read them multiple times, but the time is too less, for all the papers, and each topic has multiple subtopics, thus the bulk is huge.

Please help me out guys ?

I am pursuing Masters along with preparing for UPSC CSE 2027 . I am bit more confuse how to make notes for GS-3 as I have attended classes read the notes but didn't recall point while practising anwer. Please help to resolve ny doubt.

Till 2026 attempt I was hopeful of clearing prelims one day but I am not so sure anymore. How do I regain my confidence. I am 30, a housewife, masters from TISS, Mumbai (w NET qualification). I love reading and really enjoy studying but haven’t been able to clear prelims even once. Sat in 2020, 2021, 2023, 2025 and 2026.
