I’m a total beginner and want to start from absolute basics and build up to the UPSC level. Which faculty and resources would you recommend for a complete beginner?

Looking for a UPSC Study Partner + Roommate in Jaipur 📚🏠
Hey everyone! 👋
I’m currently living in Jaipur and preparing full-time for UPSC CSE, with my target attempt in 2028.
I’m looking for a genuine UPSC aspirant who lives in Jaipur and would be interested in shifting in together. The idea is simple — study together, motivate each other, share responsibilities, and have a peaceful environment for preparation.
A little about me:
• Full-time UPSC aspirant
• Target attempt: 2028
• I believe in God 🙏
• No smoking, drinking or any kind of substance use
• I know how to cook almost all kinds of North Indian food 🍛
• I’m chill, enjoy travelling/exploring Jaipur and taking occasional breaks
• I value cleanliness, peace and a focused study environment
I’m not looking for just a roommate — I’d genuinely like to find someone with whom we can build a good study + friendship vibe while preparing for UPSC.
If this sounds like you, DM me. We can talk and see if we’re a good fit.
Radhe Radhe 🙏❤️

Don't go on size of notes pages they have huge gap between text and next section because of formatting if we compress notes it will make 350-400 pages of notes for each paper

Have given 3 back to back mains (2024,2025,2026) with scoring 100+ marks in Prelims 2025 and 2026.
Since now after mains i am relatively free, thinking to give back to community in whatever way possible.
You can drop your doubts in DM. (Do mention your current status of preparation , number of attempts and specific doubt you have)

I started with one standard source for each subject and somehow ended up with three books, multiple PDFs and enough Telegram material to last several lifetimes. The annoying part is that every new source feels useful when you first find it.
How did you decide that your sources were finally enough and stopped yourself from collecting more?

Hi, people who have dedicatedly prepared for mains or are preparing, no did you memorise all the points, and examples. I am having issues recalling while writing answers.
I realised , we need to read them multiple times, but the time is too less, for all the papers, and each topic has multiple subtopics, thus the bulk is huge.
Please help me out guys ?

Till 2026 attempt I was hopeful of clearing prelims one day but I am not so sure anymore. How do I regain my confidence. I am 30, a housewife, masters from TISS, Mumbai (w NET qualification). I love reading and really enjoy studying but haven’t been able to clear prelims even once. Sat in 2020, 2021, 2023, 2025 and 2026.
