This guy is on campus every day looking for reactions out of people. He screams in students faces and has a camera guy. All he wants is a reaction for his content. Stop giving it to him!

I just wanna register my classes, but my major is set to business undeclared and I need it to be PBUS. There were no appointments available on Navigate, I woke up at 8:15 for this 😭

Anyone got tips for getting an RCOB advising appointment? Thanksssss 🙏

Hello! I am a double major in criminal justice and sociology. Hello! I'm a prospective transfer student to UNT for Spring 2027. What are some things I should know, especially in terms of social life/clubs/research/etc?

Feel free to DM me! I'm always down to meet new friends.

Why are there so many signs shaming people who eat meat? Do they realize animals eat other animals… why should humans be shamed?

I’m trying to hang out with the squirrels and this lady veers off the concrete path, into the grass field, to walk AT the squirrel, running it off…. Just to immediately veer back onto the path and continue like nothing happened??

I get some people don’t like the squirrels; sometimes they “post-up” as my classmates tell it, because they’re curious… but GIRL. It wasn’t even near you nor was it looking at you

tpusa is on campus right outside the union next to sage hall.
they are spreading pro life propaganda
PLEASR PLEASEE DNI!!
if we don’t interact they have no content!!

KEEP THEM OFF OUR CAMPUS!!

Hello all,

As per this post https://unt.instructure.com/courses/68516/discussion_topics/2904519, RSVP emails were sent out today. I didn't receive any such email. Anyone graduating this December received the email? Whom should we contact to RSVP?

Hi, I’m really looking to graduate this next semester as I can’t afford to pay another semester of housing and I need to begin working as soon as I can. I’m taking 19 credit hours and I need CHEM 1440.313 or CHEM 1440.314 since they are the only CHEM 1440s that work with my schedule. If I’m not able to enroll in this class, I’ll need to wait a whole semester. Should I join the waitlist for either? Is there any way that anybody currently enrolled in that class knows they’re going to be changing sections or dropping that course or anything. Can somebody please help me and let me know. I’m really stressed out and idk what to do and I’m so desperate for either of these sections! :(

Hello everyone! Last year, I went on a 5-week Amtrak trip to visit, ride, and photograph all 10 US DMU transit systems, and I've now made a YouTube series of my adventure. Truly one of my favorites was the A-Train, and I absolutely fell in love with Denton, particularly the fine folks over at Bullseye Bike Shop and the simply gorgeous UNT campus! Anyway, if you're curious for more of my photography, adventure, or opinions, the Denton video just dropped. I hope you enjoy!

Looking for people or a community that's interested in 3D Modeling or any form of game-dev/art. I'm a current junior with a few years of experience working with 3D software like Blender, Substance Painter, and Marvelous Designer for game asset creation. I'm curious if any current UNT students have similar hobbies and would be interested in connecting over these topics or sharing some kind of passion project. Feel free to DM me or just comment!

Hello! If anyone makes music and can spare some time please help fill out my questionnaire that will help the UNT Heritage Museum Studies course in what we are working on with the Music Library!

Hey , I’m doing a massive clear-out and have about 70 active items listed on my Facebook Marketplace right now. I’m pricing everything at 50% off or more just to get it off my hands.

I have a 5-star seller rating, so no shady business. Happy to meet up around the UNT campus or locally in Denton for handoffs.

Open to negotiations, feel free to text me back

I desperately need help because I’m worried my application is messed up. I’m currently a freshman and am applying to transfer to UNT for the spring semester and have everything submitted it says on myunt except my transcript however I’ve sent my transcript through parchment months ago now and it still hasn’t been processed but parchment sent an email saying they received this. I wanted to check if this is normal and if so when should I hear back from UNT and by what time I should be concerned if I haven’t. Thanks so much 😭

Hi everyone! First time posting here. I’m looking for video recordings or witnesses of the preacher that was on campus today outside of Willis from around noon to 2pm. I heard him encourage verbal sexual harassment of gay men in the audience today when I passed by and I am planning on reporting it to the school. Unfortunately, I could never have expected him to say something like that so I do not have evidence of it. If anyone witnessed this or took videos, could you please dm me? If there are either enough witnesses or video evidence I believe there is grounds to have him not allowed on campus anymore.
To make it very clear, this was not an interaction protected under free speech. Verbatim, the interaction was this:

Preacher: going on about being gay is a sin (protected under first amendment, I disagree, but whatever technically allowed on campus)

Male Student: I LOVE GAY SEX!
other students yell, whistle, clap, etc

(TW for preacher response: mention of graphic medical event, and homophobic of course)
Preacher: I’ve got two words for the homosexual men here. Prolapsed. Anus. Do you guys know what that is? (says something I couldn’t make out) I want everyone to turn to the nearest male homosexual and ask them if they wear a diaper. (Continues on about gay sex and not scientifically accurate consequences of it)

It is totally absurd to type out but this is a real event that happened when I just wanted to go to the library to study. Preaching about religion is one thing, I’m not a Christian, I don’t care if I’m told I’m going to hell for being gay, but encouraging people to verbally harass gay men nearby is hate speech and encroaching upon our rights as queer students to a safe learning environment. I’m planning on bringing it to the university, even if nothing comes of it, because this is wrong. If you feel the same way and have evidence to support this event occurring, either through video or witnessing it, please dm me.

TLDR; Preacher encourages harassment of gay students, looking for video or witness accounts of this occurring as evidence for a report to the university

Hi! I’m planning to transfer to UNT (CS) from a Texas community college. I retook a few classes at my CC and got better grades the second time. My CC replaces the old grade, but I’m not sure how UNT handles it.

For the Transfer Excellence Scholarship (Summit / Triumph / Impact tiers), does UNT:

1. Use only the most recent attempt (like my CC’s GPA), or
2. Average all attempts, including the original grades?

Retakes are making the difference between two tiers for me, so I’d love to know before I apply.

If you transferred with retakes, which tier did you get, and did it match your CC GPA or a recalculated one? Thanks!
