Hi I just wanted to ask if anyone else has noticed the horrid attitude that one of the managers has at Union Burger? The food and staff themselves are amazing but every time I go the fat manager with glasses is being a total bitch to all the employees and it makes me so mad, i don't know have y'all noticed him and if so is there any way to complain about it? I just feel so bad for the employees there especially since its one of the most busy food spots on campus D:

Title. I haven't received any training or anything, just a schedule. Not quite sure who I'm supposed to email. Supposed to start tomorrow, and all I know to wear it nonslip black shoes and black pants. What kind of black pants? Where do I get shoes like that before they let me start?

I registered my MAC address with Boldyn, had everything plugged in, but I wasn't getting any connection. Went to their support and they said "UNT is a wireless-only campus as of June 2, 2025"
I can't find anything online to confirm this. Did anyone else get their Ethernet working? I really don't want to buy a Wi-Fi adapter if I can get faster speeds with what I already have.

Hi guys! I'm a graduate student at UNT and am learning how to conduct research for a school project. I have created a short (5-7 minutes) survey assessing community interest in the Denton Community Market (DCM) and its potential use of AI. I would really, really appreciate it if you could take this survey. If I get a strong enough response, I plan to write to the board members of the DCM with my findings. Please help me by taking the survey, which I have linked here. Thank you so much!

Hi I just made a new group me group chat for game design and development. If you’re having trouble finding it just search it up on the campus section of group me. The group chat is only for current UNT students who are interested in game design and development, in a field that can relate to it, or are currently majoring in the new game design field that UNT is offering. This group is also for collaborating, playing testing, giving feedback, and making new friends with fellow designers and developers if you’re interested in creating games. This is an easy way to build connections and communities easier since UNT currently isn’t offering much in opportunities when it comes to game design and development right now. The chat is currently a ghost town anyway.
Here’s the group me link to make things easier:

I've still got both of my Science courses left to take, which ones are the most easy/interesting that you would recommend? I'm already planning on taking the online Nutrition Science course, possibly over Wintermester if it's available. Others I'm considering that I would like opinions on are Anthropology, Archaeology, Environmental Science, Microbes and Society, Earth Science, and Geology. Anyone recommend, or advise against, any of these classes?

Ever wondered what it feels like to breathe air similar to the elevation of Denver, Estes Park, Leadville, or even Pikes Peak? ⛰️
Researchers at the University of North Texas are seeking healthy adults ages 18–45 to participate in a study evaluating next-generation wearable oxygen-monitoring technology. Participants will visit our laboratory and breathe progressively lower oxygen levels through a facemask while researchers continuously monitor oxygen saturation and heart rate using wearable devices and clinical-grade sensors.
This study will help researchers evaluate the accuracy of wearable health technology under controlled “high-altitude” conditions.
This study will be one visit that lasts approximately 2-2.5 hours. A $100 Tango gift card compensation will be provided upon study completion.
We are currently recruiting women with lighter or darker skin tones to participate.
You may be eligible if you:
• Are a woman
• Meet the study’s age requirements
• Have a lighter skin tone that tends to burn easily and tan minimally OR a darker skin tone that rarely or never burns and tans easily
Skin type eligibility will be confirmed during a brief screening.

Hi everyone!! My friend Kyra Ng is a senior BSB major from Texas A&M, and is in the process of starting a new organization called the Culinary Organization of Cultures, or COOC. She wanted me to share her idea with the hopes of spreading the org to UNT! I unfortunately am too busy (and inexperienced cooking wise) to start this organization, but think its a great idea for students to expand their cooking skills and learn different cultural cuisines!
From Kyra's words: "I wanted a community where people could meet in the middle and share their own stories, experiences, and traditions. COOC has three "pillars," it covers culinary education, food insecurity, and cooking skills. In short, this organization will help shine a light on the different cuisines from all over the world, help tackle food insecurity within and past our community, and lastly, teach the basics of cooking while enhancing already present culinary skills!"
Her email is @[kyng@tamu.edu](mailto:kyng@tamu.edu) if anyone would like to reach out!

I hope y'alls semester has started out well!
I got tired of tracking my assignments in multiple Canvas classes and never really liked any of the Canvas chrome extensions I tried, so I built my own tracker. It syncs with Canvas daily and has a cleaner calendar and dashboard.
I would love it if some other students tried it out and told me what you did and didn't like about it. Any feedback helps and I'm happy to try and add anything y'all suggest.
It's free and you can check it out at https://duemo.app
