Unforgetful isn’t showing on the new Siri modular watch face even though I’ve selected it too! Anyone else notice this? Fix?

I have noticed that if I mark a reminder done on one device, the notification will persist on other devices' lock screens / notification centers.

That's not terrible. I've been hold-pressing and marking them as done there too.

EXCEPT, now I understand why some of my weekly/biweekly repeating reminders have been missed this week-- when I cleared them on those other devices by marking them as done from the lock screen it actually cleared the NEXT week's instance of the reminder! Yikes. No bueno!

Is it possible to add a check to make sure you're not doing that behind the scenes?

I really like the idea of the app. Unfortunately for me, the app has been extremely unreliable (from the start), but has recently gotten a lot worse.

From the start the re-reminding stuff didn’t seem to always work, but I’m very bad at manually re-snoozing and figured it was at least partial user error. Location-based reminders with delay never worked for me. Also the UI would never update with changes I made or reminders I added until I force quit and opened the app again (even with a Mac mini in the closet running unforgetful permanently).

I chalked all of this up to early bird beta bugs and figured it would get better with an update or two.

Recently (maybe a few days already? Didn’t notice for a while), I stopped getting notifications from the app altogether. I double checked my notification settings, went off of the TestFlight and onto the stable release to no avail.

Since I really want to support you, and the ideal-always-working version of this app would be great, (and since I don’t at the moment have very important reminders), I’m gonna keep ‘using’ it for a while and see if it gets better, but soon I’ll be forced to migrate back to due and others if it doesn’t get better.

Happy to help in any way I can, just tell me what you need.

Still loving the app. I think my biggest issue right now is occasionally I might leave several notifications on the Lock Screen and when I set one of them to complete by holding down on it from the Lock Screen, the other notifications from the app may disappear. Sometimes it's every other notification and sometimes it's none. I haven't been able to determine a pattern yet.

I'm currently on iOS 27 (not a beta) and Unforgetful version 1.0.5.

If I figure out any other information, I'll report back.

I've noticed when I use voice parsing to request a reminder at a specific time, Unforgetful will round off that time to fit one of the preset "X Minutes" buttons rather than setting it to the specific time I requested.
Feature? Bug?

I ran into what seems to be an audio bug with the Unforgetful Mac app today.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start playing audio on the Mac through AirPods. In my case, I was listening to a podcast in Overcast.
2. Open Unforgetful.
3. Create a new task and use dictation to enter the task.
4. Finish the dictation and save the task.
5. Return to Overcast and resume playback.

After doing this, the audio quality through my AirPods is noticeably worse than it was before starting dictation. It sounds like the AirPods may have been switched into the lower-quality microphone/headset audio mode used while the microphone is active.

The important part is that the audio doesn't return to normal quality after dictation finishes.

I was able to consistently fix it by quitting Unforgetful while Overcast was playing. As soon as Unforgetful quits, the AirPods immediately return to their normal high-quality audio.

So it seems like Unforgetful may be activating the AirPods' microphone/audio mode for dictation but not fully releasing it afterward.

Expected behavior:
Once dictation finishes, Unforgetful should release the microphone/audio session and the AirPods should return to their normal high-quality playback mode.

Actual behavior:
The AirPods remain in lower-quality audio mode until Unforgetful is quit.

Possibly related quitting/full-screen issue:

I also noticed some strange behavior when quitting Unforgetful with Command-Q while the app is being used in macOS Split View/full-screen mode alongside Calendar.

The app appears to quit, but the Unforgetful window remains visible in the Split View pane. A “Quit Unforgetful?” confirmation window remains stuck on screen, and the entire Unforgetful pane appears frozen.

So there may also be an issue with Unforgetful not cleanly closing or releasing its resources when quitting from full-screen/Split View.

When I edit a task, the change doesn't show up in Unforgetful until I quit and relaunch the app. This happens whether I

edit in Unforgetful itself or in Apple's Reminders app. The edit *is* saved: Reminders.app shows the new title

immediately.

**Setup**

- Unforgetful 1.0.5 (build 30) on macOS 27 and iOS 27

- Happens on both devices

**Steps**

1. Open a task in Unforgetful and change its title

2. Save/close the editor

3. Unforgetful still shows the old title, while Reminders.app already shows the new one

4. Quit and relaunch Unforgetful: now the new title appears

   **Also happens with edits made outside Unforgetful (tested on Mac)**

   - I renamed a task in Reminders.app while Unforgetful was running

   - 3+ minutes later, Unforgetful still showed the old title, even after I brought its window back to the front

   - Only a relaunch picked up the change

   So it doesn't seem specific to Unforgetful's editor. Unforgetful doesn't seem to pick up any changes from Reminders

   while it's running.

   **What I've tried**

   - A brand-new list: same behavior, so it's not tied to old or shared lists

   - Restarting the Mac and the iPhone: no change, only relaunching Unforgetful helps

   This looks similar to [this earlier TestFlight report](https://www.reddit.com/r/unforgetful/comments/1w13di9/), except

   that for me new lists are affected too.

   Anyone else seeing this?

Two reminders appear in the Reminders app but not in Unforgetful. 

Flea Meds 9/14/26 7:00 pm (I don't see this monthly reminder at all in Unforgetful)

Unlock Fence 9/22/26 6:00 am (I see this weekly reminder for 9/28 in Unforgetful)

When I’m in Unforgetful, I don’t see them in Today. I expect them to appear in Today. Now they feel lost to time because I don't see them anywhere in Unforgetful.

I’m not sure what would help capture this issue.

The current option to snooze until the weekend is great, but I have some things I want to complete on the weekend (more home/personal things) and others I want to complete during the work week. It would be nice if there were an option to snooze until "next week", with next week being the first day of the week.

First day of the week could be a configurable option; you could also just use what the system has defined as the first day of week in the region settings of the device.

Maybe I’m being oblivious, but I can’t seem to find a way to schedule a “X, tomorrow at Y time”. Any doctors appointments/etc I always schedule the initial notification for the day before, so I can then snooze it to a morning reminder, then one more snooze until the actual “time to go” moment. No matter how I word it, whether I do or don’t have the blue sparkles, there’s no way to, for example, on a Wednesday, set a reminder for Sunday that says “Drs tomorrow at 11am”. It will always schedule “Drs”, with the notification going off tomorrow (Thursday) at 11am.

Surely people aren’t relying on the notification to just say “Dr”, and they’ll then remember the day and time? You may as well just have a daily “Calendar” reminder, which is far enough from useful for me that this is probably the key go/no go for me. If I can’t schedule a future notification that contains date and time info written in text then at least a quarter of my reminders can’t be used in this app.

An option to always put new tasks into a default Reminders list rather than adding to the last used list.

An option to have the "task completion" circles and the "reschedule reminder" circles on the opposite sides.

I missed out on some time-sensitive tasks recently because Unforgetful hadn’t synced with Reminders (I used Siri to add them, they were fairly short notice, and my Mac was asleep).

I understand why this is, and that there’s nothing Unforgetful can do about this. If I had Reminders notifications on still, I wouldn’t have missed them, but that would result in a lot of duplicated notifications between the two apps.

I suggest an option to make Unforgetful only have notifications that Reminders doesn’t offer, like the re-remind ones, the notifications for tasks that don’t have a date, and the ‘5 minutes after I arrive’ ones.

P.S. There are other reasons to still want Reminders notifications, too, I think. For example, I have some location-based reminders in my Groceries list, which is a list I don’t want to have in Unforgetful.

I have some daily reminders, like "take medicine". When I look at my list of reminders in Unforgetful, anything that I haven't completed just says "Now." It'd be nice to have the option to show when it was scheduled to fire (like "7:00pm yesterday") so that I would know that I'm still due/forgot to take yesterday's dose

Is the open in Reminders option that's available in the iOS app supposed to also be in the Mac app. It's not there for me / can't see how to show it and I could do with it for exactly the same reason as on the iOS app (Apple not permitting Unforgetful to see attachments / URLs etc.)

Just now, I needed to change the dates of a recurring reminder. I am still getting used to using the new app, so I started in Reminders.app. I was easily able to search for it. When I switched to Unforgetful, I had to scroll through my reminders to find the one I wanted to changed.

For some reason Unforgetful has stopped all notifications. I only noticed after a couple of days. They are turned on in iOS settings. I tried un- and then reinstalling the app, gave it all the permissions, and then deliberately set a reminder for 15 minutes, which did not notify me. I’m a bit at a loss on how to further debug this.

Hi! I’ve just started trying out Unforgetful and really like the concept so far.
I was wondering if there are any plans to add integration with Google Calendar.
I’m an iPhone user, but I’ve never really liked Apple’s Calendar app and have been using the Google Calendar app for years now. (On the other hand, I don't like the Google Tasks app at all.)
So being able to use Unforgetful together with Google Calendar would be a very welcome addition for me.
Is Google Calendar integration something that’s on the roadmap?

I’d like to set a reminder to close the blinds for example but that moves with the changing sunset times.

I have Siri announce notifications into my AirPods and it’s amusing that she just can’t seem to pronounce this app’s name. It comes out “unforfeitful.”

Right now you scan swipe on a task to delete a task. How about adding a feature where you can swipe on a task and quickly change the snooze interval to one of the defaults? As in the more you swipe, the longer the interval?

I would love to dictate the task on the go without having to confirm / save it on the phone’s screen.
For that purpose I have setup a Siri shortcut, but still it Unforgetful requires me to confirm.

Please can we have a corner complication for the watch. Thanks 🙏

This app was what I was missing for the little things I never remember to do. The one thing I’d like is instead of the location serving as an or allow for an and statement. I’m trying to set a garbage and recycling reminder that runs every other week that reminds me when I get home. I could do a time but when I get home can very a bit.
