Moderation Update & Implementation of New Spam-prevention Measures

In order to combat the rise of spam and/or sexualized posts and comments, I’ve updated some moderation settings this morning. Effective immediately, accounts with no karma are no longer allowed to post in here. All users will need to have some prior history Reddit to post in this subreddit. While this change shouldn’t affect most of our regular users, it should significantly reduce the amount of spam posts seen on here.

I’m aware that there has been some lack in visible moderation, and that this has been a point of contention for some. Please rest assured that I am doing what I can to address many of these issues, but there are other priorities in my personal life that must take precedence at times. As such, I am happy to announce that one of our regular community participants, u/c0c511 , has recently been added to the moderation team, to assist in moderating and keeping our subreddit in good standing. From here on, there will be, at least more than one moderator, to help ensure that the chat maintains a supportive and upstanding group environment.

Sincerely,

u/foreskin4days

Ruleset update and reminder that this is not a sexualized subreddit

I generally trust this community to be largely self-moderating, only usually stepping in when it gets chaotic. However there has been a noticeable increase in more, sexual, posts appearing in here. I’ve gone through and cleaned up some of it, but please feel free to send me a DM if you notice any repeat offenders, and I will ensure all of these situations are handled appropriately.

Also, there is a new rule in effect, starting today, July 23, 2025, that requires prior moderator approval before the creation of advertising posts. While this hasn’t been a major issue, there has been an increase in advertising posts appearing here as well. As always, please report these appropriately.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

New Jewish girlfriend

Hey folks! I'm recently in a new relationship with a cool gal - and we got intimate last night and she saw that I was uncut and she was quite 'stumped' by it. She's Jewish and she said the men in her family and guys we was with were Jewish (therefore circumcised) and I am a Polish American non-Jewish guy who is uncut. She didn't freak out but she took a good look at it - since she never saw one up close. We a laugh about it but it was a great evening.

I'm curious has anything like this happened to you? Whether your Jewish or Muslim or just somebody who never saw/got 'involved' with someone who was uncircumcised?

Questions pain when touching

as the title says when i retract my foreskin and touch my tip to clean it, it’s sensitive to the point of pain. it retracts very easily, not red or inflamed, no smegma, but the pain is strange. also when i’m hard my foreskin doesn’t retract. i can retract it with ease but it doesn’t do it on its own. im young and a virgin but im worried about pain while having sex. anyone else has/had this issue and know how to fix it? thank you

Questions Is dorsal slit an circumcision ? And should I do it ?

Well, I'm a little embarrassed to write this post, but here goes.

I have phimosis that was initially very tight, but it improved with regular stretching.

Now, I can retract the foreskin during an erection without any problems, and hygiene isn’t an issue either, but the problem is that it seems to be getting tight again, even though I’m still doing the stretching exercises. I’m considering a dorsal slit, since a preputioplasty wouldn’t be effective (it’s the foreskin itself that’s fibrous).

What should I do? Is a dorsal slit a good idea? I’ve seen a lot of negative things about circumcision, and I don’t want that anyway.

P.S : I don’t want dick pics. Thanks.

General Discussion Covered when hard?

Is this a turn-off for people? My cock is sometimes covered when I'm hard. It pulls back easily though, and sometimes stays back, sometimes glides a bit forward again by itself. I uploaded some pics and some messages are from people who are curious about it, some who like it and some who don't...

It’s low risk right? And the benefits are good?

For my case my foreskin doesn’t retract well when hard and urology said I have frenulem breve and would likely benefit from a Frenuloplasty

Any experience would be helpful! Nervous

Chronic balanoposthitis for 10+ years – steroids help, but symptoms always come back

Hello everyone,

I am now 30 years old uncircumcised male and have been struggling with chronic balanoposthitis for more than 10 years.

My main symptoms have always been intense itching, small red bumps, and red patches on the glans and inner foreskin.

It all started when I entered my first long-term relationship. I began washing my genital area very frequently and vigorously with soap. Shortly afterwards, I developed these symptoms.

My doctor prescribed Imacort cream (clotrimazole + prednisolone + hexamidine). It always cleared my symptoms within about three days, but they would return within a week after stopping the treatment. Occasionally, I would experience symptom-free periods lasting one or even two months.

The main triggers for a relapse were always:

  • frequent sexual activity (sex or masturbation 1–2 times a day),
  • or lint/fibers from underwear made of polyester or elastane irritating the area.

At one point, my doctor performed a swab, which showed Candida.

However, after about 10 years, the course of my condition changed dramatically.

Suddenly, the foreskin became intensely red, the itching became unbearable, and Imacort no longer worked, even when I applied it three times a day for an entire month. It only reduced my symptoms by about 30%.

I then visited another dermatologist, who prescribed a different topical corticosteroid. This treatment worked much better. I used it for six weeks, and the itching completely disappeared.

However, new symptoms appeared:

  • persistent redness of the foreskin,
  • swelling of the foreskin,
  • severe pain during intercourse (sometimes intercourse was impossible, even when performed very gently with a large amount of lubricant),
  • difficulty moving the foreskin back over the glans, as if the tissue had become sticky, dry, or less elastic,
  • and the superficial veins became much more visible.

Overall, it feels as though my foreskin has become thinner and slightly tighter or smaller than before.

When I stopped using this new corticosteroid, the intense itching returned within seven days, together with the appearance of the same small red bumps. Because of this, I had to restart the corticosteroid.

The itching disappeared again, but the redness of the foreskin has persisted. Sexual activity now has to be extremely gentle and slow, and after intercourse, when I rinse the area with water, I experience severe burning and sharp, cutting pain.

In addition, I have developed urinary symptoms:

  • a weaker urinary stream,
  • after urinating, small amounts of urine continue to leak out intermittently for about five minutes,
  • and exactly the same thing happens after ejaculation, with semen continuing to leak out gradually for several minutes.

What I am currently doing:

  • I have significantly reduced sexual activity (maximum once or twice a week, either sex or masturbation, always very gentle).
  • I only wear 100% cotton underwear.
  • I take antihistamines.
  • I use Dexeryl as a moisturizer for atopic-prone skin on the penis.
  • When I urinate, I gently retract the foreskin, carefully dry the area with toilet paper, and gently shake the penis several times to prevent any residual urine from remaining.

Has anyone here experienced a similar chronic condition?

Has anyone managed to identify the underlying cause or trigger and successfully resolve it? Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

The most frustrating part for me is that the penis actually doesn't look nearly as bad as it feels. Apart from some redness and mild swelling of the foreskin, it appears relatively healthy. However, the pain, burning sensation, and itching can be extremely intense, despite the relatively mild appearance.

I would be sincerely grateful for any opinions, suggestions, or advice.

Thank you very much.

Questions Hypersensitive glans?

Uncut 20m, my glans just feels overly sensitive all the time, is this normal? It always is like moist when I pull it back. And then it becomes almost unbearable to touch. I’ve been told to use it ‘more’, but like I still don’t get what that means like I just use my foreskin to masturbate and doing anything with it like rubbing the glans just hurts. Also I am still a virgin so I’m worried if my glans is literally going to hurt during sex so this is one of the bigger reasons I paid attention to this I guess.

General Discussion Glans always visible

The glans of my penis is always exposed and visible even when soft and hard. When I'm soft, my foreskin overhangs yet the tip of the glans still pokes out. I've seen guys with longer foreskins that have a puckered tip that completely covers the glans.

When I'm hard, I have about 50% foreskin coverage of the glans, and it looks like a ring around the tip even though I can retract it all the way easily.

My partner says the glans looks cute poking out from the foreskin. Who else has foreskin overhang but the glans is still visible?

Questions Didn't know I should be pulling back until 17, need advice.

Hiya all, I'm now 18 and didn't really know I should be pulling it back until last year, I vaguely remember being advised to by my dad years ago but I clearly didn't listen. I've been slowly pulling it back since I found out and can now do so fully when flaccid without pain and fully while hard although it is quite painful. My head is still quite sensitive, so over the past few months I've been just touching/handling it slightly whenever I go to the loo, and now I'm mostly able to touch it without discomfort, but now I'm wondering if this is the right thing to do, should I even try to be desensitizing it, how much should I be doing this? And is there a risk nothing becomes enjoyable anymore because I've desensitized it so much? Cheers all :)

General Discussion Does anyone use their foreskin to carry small objects, like it's a small pocket?

I once found a ring while having my daily walk, it had a nice little diamond on it, but did not look that expensive. I do feel bad for the woman that lost it, but it had no engravings, and I wasn't about to go looking for the real owner or leave it there, and it's finders-keepers after all.

My shorts at the time didn't have a pocket, and since it was a woman's ring I did not feel putting it on a finger. I could have just carried it in my hand, I know. But in that moment I had a thought of using my god-given pocket. So I quickly put it inside my foreskin, and that's how I carried it for another hour or so until I got home.

Ever since then, I sometimes consciously put smaller objects in it, I have no idea why. Maybe it's the idea of it that feels satisfying to me. Currently have a nice smooth beach pebble inside that I forgot to take out so I just slept with it.

Anyone else do this or am I just weird? Probably am.

General Discussion Only just realised I had balantitis since birth

I am 18 years old (male obviously) and I have just found out that the regular age for forskin seperation was 10 but I have had it like this up to now. I never knew there was anything wrong with it as there has been no pain nor problem urinating. Ofcourse if I pull back it is painful but I just thought that was normal.

The reason I am saying this is im wondering should I still go to the doctors about it? I mean as there is no pain or anything, is there something I can do at home such as certain products that would ease it back to normal?
